Walking distance to the heart of the action. Minutes from the boat ramp, The Monkey Bar, Florida Cracker Kitchen and so much more. Super affordable so why pay more? Park your boat, truck and trailer here with no issue. Needing a captain to take you to the scallop grounds or maybe a manatee trip I have a few of those as well. Laid back spot just off the main road. Build a fire in the fire pit, walk down to The Shed or MacRaes for an icy cold beverage and listen to the band. So much to see and do.

Great spot

Great spot for a stay. Was as advertised, clean, cold A/C, comfy beds and a great porch. We will be back.

Great easy stay

Easy stay at Kathi's place. Close to everything, nice neighborhood, well kept house. Comfortable beds and hot showers.

Great Place in Old Homosassa!

We stayed one night while traveling south and thoroughly enjoyed both the rental and the area. We walked to a few of the local establishments and had a great time. Would recommend!

Great location

Nice little place with everything you need located a quarter mile from the marina. Easy door access. No problems, had a great time scalloping.

Spacious and clean

House was great. Lots of space with two full bathrooms, large living room and large kitchen and table. Lanai was great too. A lot to do and see in Homosassa. Terrific place to visit

Excellent experience for my first Vrbo booking

I researched several properties as my group size changed from initial planning till booking. This property is small but: cute, comfortable and so very affordable. It was perfect for our size group. It was exactly as pictured, and the property manager was so friendly and informative. It was such a convenient location to everything in the area. All of us fully agreed we would absolutely love to stay here again.

Two night stay

Place is convenient to get to restaurants. Keep the air conditioner really cold to keep the place smelling fresh or it has an old Smokey smell. Was sprayed for pests, however we still killed a few bugs. Wouldn’t stay their again.

Homosassa Hideaway

the stay and place was good. Perfect place for what is intended for. Perfect screen in room in the back for yoga or exercising. Plenty of room in and out. I did not stay in the area for recreational purpose. Only one nigth had company over. I visit the area to purchase property in Crystal River. Internet was slow for my computer at peak times.

The place grew on us

The property is an older trailer with a few newer additions. It served our needs, and we did enjoy our stay there. We liked having a yard with fire pit. Also, loved having the ice maker so we could fill our coolers. The screened porch was a nice place for morning coffee and evening wine. The beds were comfy. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and friendly. However, inside the home was a musty smell, as if the prior occupants were smokers. Once we were in the home for a few days and used Lysol spray, the smell lessened, but never completely disappeared. Additionally the stove burners worked but the oven was broken. There was a toaster oven, so it wasn’t a big deal. I enjoyed my stay but would look elsewhere just because that musty odor penetrated all our clothes.

Good location

Got this rental for my elderly mom and her dog for a family birthday party as she didn't have the ability to access our house due to disability. Had most things we needed. Thought the grill was gas so had to go get charcoal at the last minute to cook steaks. We had a little mishap on checkout as my moms uber showed up late so she had to sit outside while the cleaning lady was there. Hopefully that wasn't too inconvenient for the host. That was her ride home.
