Whether you’re seeking a romantic retreat, a serene office away from home, an artist’s or writer’s haven, or a birdwatcher’s paradise, DRIFT Studio is the perfect destination.

Unmatched Views and Wildlife Encounters
Let the soothing sounds of the waves and the breathtaking views of Denman Island, the Salish Sea, and the historic Chrome Island Lighthouse set the tone for your stay. From the comfort of the cottage, witness the wonder of an Ancient Fishing Weir, which attracts incredible marine life like elephant and harbor seals. Bird enthusiasts will delight in frequent sightings of bald eagles, blue herons, loons, and more. Keep your eyes on the water, and you may even spot orcas gliding through the channel.

Important Information
Please note that access to DRIFT Studio involves descending approximately 80 concrete steps, most of which lack a handrail. However, a motorized tram is available to assist with luggage transport, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure.

Absolutely stunning!

My husband and I loved our stay here!! The views were stunning and we loved being right on the beach and being able to enjoy all the wildlife! The property managers were so helpful and friendly. It was so relaxing and we will definitely be back (for longer next time)!

Literally just steps from the ocean this seaside cabin was just perfect

Our stay was better than I expected and I expected so much! Very comfortable and private. Wildlife abundance right off the patio There was great waterfalls hiking just a short drive and many great eating and drinking establishments close by

Perfect spot for a getaway

It was delightful to stay at this quaint little cabin! It's well appointed with everything needed, and the location right on the beach is ideal. I had the pleasure of watching eagles, herons, seals, sea otters, and many more forms of wildlife right out the front window. The cozy fireplace is a great added touch for the cool evenings. If you seek quiet, solitude, and a beautiful venue to re-charge, this place is for you.

This was a fantastic beach front property where the beach is just a few meters away. It was amazing to wake up to the sound of the waves. The home decor was lovely and also had the needed supplies and utensils if you wanted to stay in and prepare a meal. The caretakers were also super helpful and very responsive when we needed to use the lift for our luggage. I would definitely go back again!

Spectacular!

Beautiful spot on the ocean. Hosts were great. There are stairs down to the property, but doable for the average person, and hosts very willing to help with luggage! A great experience:)

Beautiful Place to Stay!

We just stayed here for a little New Years getaway, and it was perfection. Such a cozy little cabin with everything one needs to cook and be comfy. Beautiful location, beach walks abound and all the supplies to have a little campfire session. Aria the caretaker was friendly and speedy with replies, communication was great too from the Owners and made for a very smooth check in and check out process. Would love to come back in the summer!

Tides and tranquility

Right at the ocean's edge, viewing herons and eagles. The cabin is very comfortable and well appointed. Mobility an asset to visitors, but we enjoyed the exercise of the stairway down to the site. Many nearby places to shop, or to enjoy forest walks. A very enjoyable place.

Drift Studio was the perfect reprieve from a busy city life. So many wonderful birds and wildlife outside the front door. Eagles heron sea lions and otters entertained me for hours. The studio cabin was well appointed, clean and everything I had hoped for. I plan to return one day.
