Salty Seas

Enjoy some coastal charm and keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. Salty Seas Cottage is a historic home in downtown Swansboro that has been remodeled to feature modern amenities while maintaining it's originality. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, marinas and parks. Nearby, you'll find local seafood markets, kayak rentals, boat excursions and you're within 5 miles of Hammocks Beach State Park and Emerald Isle beach.

This is a true one bedroom home with an open concept living and kitchen area and full bath with washer and dryer. The living room features a pull out sofa with a queen size memory foam mattress. The bedroom includes a king size bed and dressing area with a lighted make-up mirror. High-end appliances compliment the kitchen and eating area for those who like to cook and eat in.

Outside, enjoy a fenced in yard with garden (depending on the time of year, you may be able to enjoy some fresh veggies) and a covered porch that begs to be lounged on with a gas grill on the side.

Everything was great. Tammy was a wonderful host. The on street parking not quit big enough for our F250 but we made it work We recommend this place

Weekend Getaway

Everything was awesome. The property owner (Tammy) was easy to contact and replied almost simultaneously to any question. Tammy had a plate of local Strawberries when we arrived which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Location was great and plenty things to do within a 25 miles radius. The cottage is decorated as you would expect for a beach getaway. At the top of our list when we go back..10+ star rating!

"Perfect getaway"

Just what we needed! I felt like I had stepped back in time to "Mayberry". Although we loved our time at the beach and my husband enjoyed a little fishing, my favorite moments were the early mornings and evenings sitting on the recliner on the front porch as families and couples peacefully strolled by with their doggies, etc. The home was immaculate and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone who would enjoy a quiet, peaceful getaway!

Cozy Cottage

My husband and I had a wonderful, peaceful week at “Salty Seas” cottage. It is a perfect blend of historic charm with modern amenities for cooking and comfort. However, we did have two issues….we’re 70 and our aging bones were challenged getting in and out of the high bed, and the bathtub was also difficult to use. Overall, we enjoyed this property and those issues did not affect our stay, thus, the 5 star rating.

Outstanding property

What a beautiful property! I came to Swansboro for the weekend-Mullet Festival. I was within walking distance of everything, restaurants, bars if that is your thing and just cross over the bridge and you can be at the beach. Just a few blocks from the downtown waterfront. The house having everything you need. The communication with the owner was excellent. They answered all questions and even left the light on for my late arrival. I have a high standard for cleanliness and this home exceeded my expectations. The bed was so comfy. I could live in it if not for it being a VRBO. Enjoy your stay!!

Just Wonderful

Perfect

The house was perfect for me and my son, in town for a baseball tournament. The comfort and cleanliness combined, with The great location, which allowed us to walk to the charming downtown for meals, made for the perfect stay. I would totally recommend this for those interested.

HoneyMoon Stay in Swansboro North Carolina

It was very cute bungalow. We really enjoyed the decor and the owners thought of everything. We really loved it. The house was I'm a great location an in walking distance for going to the beach and to go souvenir shopping at the lil shops and restaurants. They had they had a welcome sign for us being newly Weds. I thought that was very sweet.

Beautiful Home and City

Beautiful home in a great location. This was my family's first trip to Swansboro for a baseball tournament and each time we arrived back at the house it was so comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the porch and yard, walks to the water, to dinner, shops and the candy store. My kids are already asking if we can visit again.

Beautiful, well appointed home!!

This home is so lovely! From the great appliances, the oh so comfortable bed, and the location, we loved our stay. It was perfect!! The hosts were so nice. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful, clean southern charm ! Short distance to downtown waterfront for a nice stroll thru town for drinks and dinner ! Can’t say enough! The bed was amazing and that is so hard to find... job well done on this home...
