Romantic winter Escape with dock and Hot tub.

Private dock with a private Hot Tub, swim mat, fire pit, XL covered porch, large private fenced yard. BRING YOUR BOAT or rent our kayaks and visit Sharks tooth island or spend the day at a sandbar! You will never be bored. We provide a swim mat for endless fun on the water. Unbelievable sunsets over the Intracoastal waterway from the hottub or dock. Close to everything, 3 miles to beaches & hiking, 2 miles to walmart, 13 miles to Camp Lejeune,15 miles to Aquarium.
Very relaxing 3 bedroom and 1 bath home on the water with a private dock. There is a very large back yard with a privacy fence around all sides except the water, no fence at the waterline to save the few. The water is very shallow at the edge. There is a very large screened porch with a dining table and seating area, as well as a smaller open area to sit out and watch the kids play or enjoy the sunrise. Beautiful evenings!
The current is very strong at times. We highly recommend anyone 14 and under to wear life-jackets. There are sharp shells in the water, so water shoes are recommended. Lastly, No diving allowed, it can get shallow on the sides of the dock at low-tide.
Please keep kayaks and swim mat tied up, the tide can pull them away.

Family beach day

Anniversary getaway

The house was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. The only downside was the booming we kept hearing that made our dog uncomfortable but not much we can do about that. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend- The Other Benton’s

Great dock and view

The location was great! The dock and view were excellent. The house is older and the outdoor furniture was in bad shape. The owner also stopped by and walked around the property when we were there which is probably allowed but kind of annoying.

Nice views from the deck

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is nice and the beds were comfortable. Modern conveniences throughout the house. It is located right on the busy state highway, which made it a bit difficult getting in and out at times. Pretty quiet inside though.

Great littlel house with dock for relaxing and beautiful views of the marsh. Very very clean. Only downside is one bathroom.

Nice winter getaway

The views from the back of house were spectacular! We were not expecting it to be on a main highway, but were not bothered by too much noise. The adorable Sunset House sign illuminated the front porch at night for us to easily locate the house. Loved the fireplace!

Sunset House Getaway

Beautiful Sunsets

Our family enjoyed this property. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful from here. Easy access to everything. My husband loves to fish so he enjoyed the pier while me an my daughter kayaked to the nearby barrier Island. Planning to come back again, so much fun!

Playing in the back!

It was a great week! We all enjoyed fishing & watching dolphins play & swim by the dock! Loved watching my dogs run & play in the back yard! And was relaxing in the hot tub!

Wonderful stay!!

We had a wonderful stay!! Location is great!! Really enjoyed the hot tub! Loved that we could bring our boat for the weekend. We cannot say enough great things about the host Jon! We had some boat issues out on the water and Jon was so nice he met us at the boat launch and even went to the store and bought us a part to help us try to fix our boat! Thank you so much we will definitely rent again!

Great location

Had a wonderful time at this property …. While we were there air broke but property manager was awesome to respond quickly ! Only issue was advertised as private dock and apparently owner has full access to the dock and showed up three days in a row… hopefully they can fix this as the property is gorgeous!

Great view from the hot tub!

We enjoyed staying here. Our dog was mostly contained by the fence. There is a smaller fence that would have fully contained him, but we didn’t use it. My son loved playing in the little shell beach. We were visiting family and the location was close to them. The beds were comfortable and the place is nice inside. The road it’s off of is busy but I knew that going into it. And I was surprised by how well insulated the place was. It was relatively quiet inside. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again!

Family memories

We stayed here with our kids and grandkids. We had a wonderful time making memories. The house was clean and comfortable. Owner was very quick to respond to questions. Beautiful views of the sound. Beaches are just a short car ride down the road. The dock at the back of the house is a wonderful spot to enjoy your coffee or have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Great halfway point between PA & GA to meet family!

Living in GA, it was long over due to see family from PA. We found this quaint location and lake house on a whim and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! This is an adorable lake house, 3 BR 1 B. King bed, 2 twins, queen, & 2 nice blow up matresses to put wherever. We had 8 ppl altogether and had plenty of space. The decor is so cozy, modern, chic, with a warm welcoming lake/beach feel. I felt at home. There is a long back porch half screened in and half open. The screen in area has an outside dinner table with chairs, a long rocking bench and a rocking chair. One night several of us ate dinner there and enjoyed the view of the lake. Afterwards, we watched the sunset out on the dock while some jumped in the kayak (provided). Once it was dark 6 of enjoyed the hot tub on the open patio. The scenery was breathtaking! The hot tub was very comfy after the long 6 hour drive to get there! (Being that it is summer we simply turned the heat down some). While visiting this location I noticed there were several places to choose from for food, groceries, activities, and more. We visited the Pine Knoll aquarium which is 30 minutes down the island and worth every second! We watched the sun go down at Pier Point Beach Emerald Isle. Overall, this was one of the best experiences and exceeded checking all 8 of our boxes! Jonathan, had great hospitality and answered us quickly! 10/10! Tysm!
