1970s themed 5th floor condominium with lots of natural light and views. Secure building with key fob entrance and elevator. Historic YMCA Building in the heart of Downtown Winston-Salem Theater District. Steps from 4th Street Restaurants, Hanesbrands Theater and the Stevens Center. All of downtown within walking distance.

One Bedroom, One and a half Bathrooms. Office with pull out Sleeper Sofa. 70s themed space with excellent 70s vinyl record collection. You will dig it baby!

Winston-Salem Theater District, just off 4th Street entertainment district. Lots of restaurants, live music and entertainment venues. Short walk to Stevens Center, Hanes Brand theater and Benton Convention Center.

Part of the Camel City Lofts Collection. Be sure to see the Frequent Flyer, the Camel City Blue Note, the Downtown Moxie and Queen Anne's Revenge in same building.

It was a nice apartment for the low cost. The oven set off the smoke alarm after barely being used at all----I think something was burnt on the bottom, or it needed cleaning. The apartment was quite tidy and clean, but I could detect a slightly odd smell. I thought there was a bathtub, but the stopper wouldn't work, so I guess it was meant to be more of a handicapped shower----hot water lasted forever, so that was nice. The vibe was spot-on, and we were definitely in the middle of downtown Winston-Salem's art and music scene. We went to a great bar and grill close by.

Perfect hideaway!

I wish I could give.more than 5 stars. This is a true gem in the triad area. Close to everything and very well stocked. If staying in Winston Salem, don't even hesitate... this is the one to rent.

Urban Hippies

Loved the retro decor and really enjoyed relaxing with some great music. The host was very attentive to any questions we had. Couldn’t be a better location for walking around the downtown area and seeing the best of Winston-Salem 👌😊

The Urban Hippie is located in an Historic Building in the Downtown Winston-Salem Entertainment District. The best downtown restaurants and entertainment venues are all within a short walking distance. Only three blocks from the Benton Convention Center.

The Urban Hippie is a celebration of the time before Hair Bands! Stereo Receiver with Turntable and Bluetooth. Lots of pre 1980s vinyl records and 70s music heyday vibe. Great launch spot for getting around downtown. You will totally dig it baby!
