Home Highlights:

- Sandpiper Linen Program Participant: All linen, bedding and bath, are the highest quality. 450 thread count sheets for each bed and oversized towels in each bathroom are provided.

Home Details: Marisol is just off Tupelo Street on the east side of Seaside proper just steps to 2 of Seaside's 3 pools, the tennis courts and fitness center. The main level consists of a spacious living room with flat screen TV, dining room with seating for 8 and/or, a gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances, butcher block table with seating for 3 and bar seating for 2 more. Also on the main level is the QUEEN guest bedroom with 32 inch Flat Screen TV (not pictured) and private bath (shower only). Upstairs you'll find the QUEEN master retreat with private bath/shower combo, small private balcony off the bathroom, and a lofted space with queen bed and 42 inch TV for additional sleeping space and entertainment. The large upstairs balcony is accessible from this loft space. The kids bunk guest bedroom (sleeps 4 in a bottom full size bed with top twin bunk and twin trundle) completes the upstairs with private bath (shower only). A beautiful balcony runs the length of the upstairs and is easily accessible from all bedrooms. Enjoy views of the town of Seaside from up here or kick back and work on your tan!

**There is an additional cost to use the 3 pools and fitness center in Seaside. This charge is optional with Sandpiper Vacation Rentals. The cost for this cottage is $84/day. Please alert us after booking should you wish to add the "Seaside Amenity Passes" to your reservation. Seaside requires the passes to be purchased for the entirety of your stay when ordered.
*Additional fees are required to reserve Pickleball and Tennis courts paid directly to the Seaside amenity Center.

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time in Seaside and at this property. The house is huge and there is plenty of space for everyone to retreat to if they need private time. Everything was correct in the listing, and the address was in the most perfect spot easily accessible to the beach and shopping as well as a short drive to the grocery store. We even had an issue with one of the bikes and called the bike place to help. They were on it within a couple of hours and fixed it for us with no issues. I would stay here again and I would recommend this property to anyone who has a large group.

loved marisol!

this was a sweet house with a nice kitchen and great location! the only thing that was an issue was one of the walls in the downstairs main bedroom was only a half wall...and the downstairs is where all of the kitchen, t.v., and entertaining action is. it was pretty loud and hard to sleep if you wanted to go to bed early or sleep-in in the morning. other than that, we loved our stay!

Great Vacation

We had our first family vacation here. Yes, the house is old, but it's a great house. The reviews here made me nervous, but we had a blast. There were a few small things that need addressing. A few light switches were confusing and the toilets were kind of small (my oldest is potty training and her potty seat wouldn't fit on them). The location was fantastic. We may use this property again in the future. There have been updates and renovations were it's important, so I hope that work continues

Marisol-Seaside

Great location and exterior appearance. Less than 100 steps to an incredible pool and very short walk to the beach which is not very crowded. Interior of house in my opinion is in dire need of renovation--bathrooms are tiny and dated; bedrooms are either choppy or tiny depending on room; and kitchen floor is not level and sags.

Seaside living at its finest

Cannot begin to explain how incredible our stay was. Marisol felt like a little tree house tucked in the beach. Everything about the house worked perfectly for my family of five and an additional family of four. I think we’ve found our “forever” vacation rental spot.

Avoid Marisol

This home has been neglected to the point you feel the flooring sag as you walk…..stove/ oven does not work.. we did find a portable counter top stove eye! Two of the baths are way too small. Lighting is sparse. Check in was a night mare….the door code was wrong along with all of the beach access codes! The only thing that worked was the bike lock codes…. So many well kept home to choose from, avoid this one.

Great house and location!

Marisol is in a great location in Seaside and sits on a large corner lot. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy, and it’s a short easy walk to the beach and town center. We enjoyed the casual “classic Seaside” style of the home, and it had plenty of room four our group (two families with 4 kids 8+). The first floor bedroom has one wall that does not go all the way up, so late sleepers should pick a room upstairs. We had a great stay!

Perfect family cottage

Great house, great location. Beds were soft, plenty of room for us and 4 kids (teenagers/young adults). We were very comfortable and the management company was fantastic. They were quick to answer our emails and really went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. It was a worry free rental, everything we wanted was taken care of before we arrived. It’s just what we were looking for, just a block or so away from the beach and the main town square without paying that “on the beach” premium that other rentals had. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

Great location - but wouldn't rent again.

My family and I have been vacationing in Seaside for about 30 years now. Unfortunately, this stay was perhaps our least pleasant in terms of housing. Marisol is located in a fantastic location and the house itself is spacious and can fit a lot of people, great for large families. However, the property was not as clean as it could have been upon arrival and the AC unit for the second floor was broken. We contacted Sandpiper immediately and they said they were aware of the problem and that someone was coming out to fix it. In the meantime, they provided two portable AC units for the hallway and one bedroom. However, there seemed to be a major problem with the AC unit to where at least two separate AC companies were brought out over the course of our stay (with one of these visits lasting until 1AM), with no one being able to fix the problem by the time of our departure. Sandpiper brought out several more portable units for other bedrooms upstairs, which made the stay comfortable enough, but the constant issue of dealing with contractors in and out and the extreme discomfort of the first night was enough to put quite a damper on the stay. Furthermore, we experienced a few other issues such as the oven/stove not working intermittently, which obviously made it difficult for us to provide our own meals throughout the stay. As mentioned above, Sandpiper was extremely sorry throughout the process and was as helpful as they could have been given the circumstances. We did receive a small refund for our experience, however it was not the amount we felt was merited for the inconveniences of the stay. Overall, as ones who will return to Seaside for future vacations, we will probably rent from other property management companies in the area and would not stay at this property again.

Spring break Seaside

Management was great. House was not really the cleanest. Pet hair on furniture and hair on the floors of the bathrooms. Horrible carpet stains in bedrooms. Outside furniture lacking. Bicycles old and rusty. Cobwebs in corners. One bedroom was really a closed in porch without a full wall. light/fan on same switch w dining room so unusable. Would not stay here again. paid as much for this old house as newer better homes. Kitchen was VERY dated and not well Supplied. Cooktop abysmal.

Location great... house mediocre

This home is in a great location and has a nice outdoor wrap around porch. The property manger and information sent before the trip was very helpful. The kitchen is very old and not great to cook in. The side tables in the master bedroom were very small and just large enough to sit our phones on overnight. The bathrooms were small and need updating. Overall the home needs maintenance and updates.

Such a dissapointment. The floors are buckling, the furniture is worn and stained, and the entire interior is in need of paint. Worst of all was the terrible mildew odor throughout the house that made my throat burn and my eyes water. The photos and description of this property are very misleading. The management company website describes it as "gorgeous" and "beautiful and spacious." ??? This was our first time renting with Sandpiper vacation rentals; it will be our last.

Spring Break 2013

This was our first time to Seaside and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. This house is clean and nicely decorated. It had plenty of room for 2 adults and 5 teenage boys. The location is perfect. It is right across the street from the fitness center,one of 3 pools, the play ground and only 2 blocks from the beach and Seaside square. The Publix is about 3/4 of a mile away and you could walk or ride a bike if you had to. The only thing I think is needed is a door or at the very least a curtain separating the loft room from the master bath since it is right off the master bedroom and bathroom, an easy fix for much needed privacy. We will definitely rent this house again.

Seaside marathon, spring 2013

Marisol. Unique house, typical for Seaside. Nice decks, well equiped kitchen, clean. No TVs in bedrooms, not a big deal for us, but could be an issue with kids. "Grounds Crew" needs to make a visit, may have been result of time of year. Easy walk to town square, LOVE this area. Don't tell your friends, we're selfish! Thanks Mike/Kathy

Relaxing retreat

We just returned from our first Seaside vacation. We rented the "Marisol" cottage and it was wonderful. It was just my wife and I on this trip so we had plenty of room. We commented several times that we could bring our family next time and easily have enough space for everyone. The cottage is very well maintained and it has a nice big lot as well. It is located in a quiet area and it was nice to be able to walk to the beach or town square. The folks at Sandpiper were very nice and replied promptly to all my inquiries. We will definitley look to use them for our next visit.
