this is NOT a vacation rental, it is set up with numbered locked bedroom doors as if someone is renting out rooms by the month. the only "views" are of concrete walls of neighboring houses and neighborhood homes across the street.we walked into the house to find a futon opened up and taking up most of the living room space. Be warned that if anyone has mobility issues this is not the place for you as access is very challenging with the front steps not being level or deep enough for even a walker (which was the case for my elderly mom). My issue is this being represented as a vacation home, It is a house with four bedrooms and so on, but not where i want to spend vacation days and dollars.

Please refer to the other reviews. It appears that this guest had expectations of a cruise ship but the budget to stay at my house and now they're complaining? The number doors are for traveling nurses.

While the property itself had some potential, our overall experience was disappointing. The host was overly intrusive and made several unreasonable requests throughout our stay, including stopping by the property unexpectedly to “check in,” which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome rather than relaxed as guests.Additionally, parking was extremely limited, and the property is located on a very congested and noisy street, which was not clearly conveyed beforehand. We also noticed a peculiar odor inside the home that impacted the comfort of our stay.Unfortunately, due to these issues, we would not choose to stay at this property again.

Neighbors called me stating my guest had parked on the lawn his first night. Guest could not answer my calls due to the fact he was passed out. This review is in response to my insistance that the guest abide by house rules (don't park on the lawn) and pay for the damages of the lawn and grading.

Property is very clean and well stocked. Jasmine texted during out visit to verify that all was going well. A park is very close (behind the next house). The cool weather was a nice break from the inland heat.

Monterey Graduation

We had a family member graduating from CSU Monterey. This place was perfect and had everything you would need for a weekend stay. Very quiet neighborhood but parking was a little tight, recommend not having more than 2-3 cars. Overall great experience, host was great at answering any questions right away.

This property changed from the property I viewed… was told I would get a full refund if I didnt the like the new on the day In which I traveled a couple hundred miles and was in the area. Poor communication ….my family with small children was enroute on the same day … bait and switch asked for discount for my trouble and was denied.

Horrible Communication

First, I cannot speak to the quality of the home. We ended up not staying here as we had issues with communication with the owner. I will also say, I made a mistake and tried to rectify it but they were not helpful. Vrbo had to step in and found us somewhere else as they were appalled at how the owner spoke to me. They had our chat history I gave them access too. Other things I found interesting was on a separate agreement they sent (yes they can do this). They asked how many beds we wanted made (all?!), dogs had to be groomed 24 hours before, and you were not to track any sand in (what happens if you accidentally do?). All in all I would not recommend. We found a lovely home in Carmel for not much more.
