The house is exactly as pictured! Communication was great and prompt. Would definitely book again. The only thing I would say is no big serving bowls or trays, but other than that everything was great.

We were held up as check in for an hour because we couldn’t get into the resort and VRBO couldn’t get anyone to answer even after sending an email and contact request over 30 minutes prior to arriving at the property. No response to the email sent 30 minutes prior and took an hour for the VRBO agent to get a response. After driving 8 hours waiting another hour was completely unacceptable. Spiderwebs were everywhere in the property including the kitchen. We knocked them down.

This moment we walked in the front door, we all noticed the walls and carpet was filthy. The property needs some TLC. Floors were sticky, we went to Walmart immediately after checking in and bought a vacuum cleaner and a mop to clean the floors and carpet. The beds were low to the floor, the height for a toddler. There was only one bed that was average height. The bedding needs to be changed regularly due to being faded. The wash cloths and towels were hard and needed to be replaced, which we didn't use them to bathe, we always bring our own wash cloths and towels when we travel. We had to clean the refrigerator out, it had hair in it. The pool was not freshly cleaned, people that got in the water said it taste like sweat when swimming, so we never used the pool again. Fixtures need to be tightened up in places. The overall fill was filthy when you walked in. It was embarrassing when the rest of our party arrived. Some wanted to leave and stay elsewhere. We spent the first night cleaning the property. The size of the property was great, spacious rooms and potential. I think this home has potential but needs upgrading badly.

The property was thoroughly cleaned and inspected immediately prior to your arrival. Because no issues were raised during your stay, our team unfortunately did not have the opportunity to step in and resolve these concerns for you in real-time. Regarding the bed heights, please note that some of the bedrooms feature beds designed slightly lower to the floor as they are themed specifically for children, while our King bedrooms feature standard-sized beds. We take all guest feedback seriously and will review your comments with our team to ensure we continue providing a great experience.
