We highly recommend this place for short or long stays

We stay 1 month in the purple zen door and its was an amazing experience it had everything we need for our stay, the garden is something very special give a plus to the place. Thanks tamara you was very kind with us :)

Quiet and Peaceful

Upon entering this beautiful garden retreat, you can feel the calm and inviting atmosphere. We would sit outside and listen to to the frogs and view the beautiful moon. Thank you Tamara for sharing a much needed peaceful vacation!

This property caught my eye, amazing, magical experiences all over the property. Beautiful,

If you are looking to have a peaceful, soulful, magical, a d highly spiritual experience, then this cottage is DEFINITELY the BEST for that kind of stay. I felt the warm welcome as I crossed the threshold and walked in through the purple door that stood out and gave off a serene welcoming vibe. I did a lot of meditating there, and I know I was meant to vacation here, as I knew I'd have a very spiritual experience, which I did the evening before I left. This property is beautiful, the hammock rocks you like a baby, great for peaceful reflections a d hearing the birds chirp and the positive vibes that were emitting from the wind chimes. All in all, I would give it a much higher rating if it were possible. My host Tamera was amazing, and actually planned a surprise for me one evening, I was feeling like I was royality. She made my stay in this beautiful cottage worth every cent. The cottage was amazing. I slept like I was on a puffy cloud a d the pillows were amazing!! I can only say I wish I stayed longer. I will DEFINITELY be coming back, but for a longer duration. Everything was beyond excellent!! Tamera made my whole experience as it was my first time staying at an AirBnB. Highly recommended. This property and its positive vibes makes for a true, magical experience in the beautiful enchanted gardens. I actually am thinking of writing a book about my amazing stay at the purple zen.door cottage and enchanted gardens. A MUST for anyone looking for an amazing vacation. I love going on cruises, often going 3 times per year, but this short vacation in beautiful Oceanside was by far the BEST vacation I have ever been on. The purple door cottage is set in an interesting rustic garden setting complete with hummingbirds, black-hooded Orioles, and other songbirds. The cottage is well-equipped for overnight stays.

I did not meet Tamara, but I believe her to be a spirit that is walking down the path of enlightenment. As she moves she spreads her space for others to experience. Special place.

What a place!

I had never stayed at an air bnb establishment before, but I surely will again. This place was unbelievable - a nice comfortable bed, great kitchen facilities and the perfect bathroom and shower. But the garden - that was the amazing part, and I could have spent the entire time sitting out there, enjoying the scenery and reading. Unfortunately, I was in the area to attend two family graduations, so I wasn't around to enjoy the place as much as I would have liked. Tamara was the perfect host, too, asking a couple times over my stay if there was anything I needed. All in all, a great experience and I would love to stay again

Adorable mini cottage with everything we needed, plus sweet birds songs

Tamara has thoughtfully put together a lot in her small space. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of towels and room to unpack. The best part, of course, is her beautiful garden. It’s wild and full of sweet smelling plants, plants that draw birds who sing all day. I loved the yard. The cottage is very much in town, but her garden could be on a tropical island. Also, gratitude for Tamara’s willingness to accommodate my special request.

Truly Enchanted

This place is like an oasis of peace and positive energy. We felt like we had been transported as we watched the moon, listened to the humming birds, enjoyed the sun, watched eagles, and relaxed in Tamara's private haven. This place is like magic - we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The little house is situated in a very private piece of paradise, with a beautiful garden atmosphere. Totally relaxing! Little slice of heaven

I stayed at the purple door cottage for about 4 months and felt so at home in this cozy little spot thanks to Tamara. She always made sure that I had everything that I needed to ensure that I was comfortable! This truly is a little slice of heaven with the beautiful backyard, hammocks, and fire pit... a perfect getaway and only 5-10 mins from the beach! I stayed here while attending a professional training for five days. After 10 hour days, this air B&B was a perfect place to unwind. It was fully stocked, clean, comfortable and the outside gardens were a great way to decompress. I recommend this beautiful cottage 110%.

The best review I can give is that I would highly recommend the purple door to any friend or relativ

The owner txt us the first morning, asked if we had a pleasant nights sleep and did we need anything. My reply was, you've thought of everything. It felt like a very cozy, relaxing home away from home. The garden area was wonderful to have your morning coffee or evening cocktail in. If you are looking for a tranquil get-away, this is the place.

Charming escape!

My friend and I stayed here as a getaway from the Phoenix heat. This place is awesome! It was very clean and had all of the necessary amenities. The garden was a relaxing and peaceful setting to eat in or just hang out and chill. I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and tranquil

My husband and I recently stayed at Tamara's purple door cottage and it was absolutely wonderful! We were in desperate need of some tranquility and this home away provided it. The property is beautiful, truly a little piece of paradise. We felt like we were on a little private getaway far away from the chaos of life; and yet, the location is close to beaches and great restaurants. We'll definitely be coming back.
