Come and enjoy the southwest in this Charming old home in Mesilla Park. Just 5 min to NMSU and Mesilla where you can enjoy some Historic Old Mesilla shopping and food! Take a walk around the neighborhood under the giant shade trees or to the big grassy park around the corner. Enjoy an evening in and listen to an old record on the beautiful record entry console. This home will provide you a quiet and relaxing space to unwind and reset.

Nice place

Nice. Quiet neighborhood. Clean inside. Back yard a bit cluttered, but fenced in nicely. Good communication with host. Good neighbors. Good size rooms. Would stay again if in that area passing through.

Mesilla Park stay

Overall the property needed a deep cleaning and a handyman maintenance in the facility. Specific items that needed cleaning; oven (refused to use), primary shower had mildew buildup (tried to remove the mildew but was only able to remove a little over half), dust buildup in many areas. Looked forward to an outdoor coffee or breakfast but the grounds needed a major cleanup from prior season vegetation and dog litter. The master bed was excellent but the leather sofa/loveseat in the den were stained, dirty and very uncomforable and had to add pillows to seats and cover with blankets. Both need to be replaced. The washing machine smelled like rotten eggs due to bacteria buildup. Used Affresh a few times but wasn’t able to remove all the buildup. The kitchen chairs numbered six but only two were steady enough to use and lots of broken tiles in the kitchen. The property has a lot of potential, but needs TLC.

Nice and quite neighborhood except the train noise which is ok with us.

Just a quick stop and 1 night stay to rest. So we don’t much about the area.

Quiet neighborhood and roomy house

We truly enjoyed this property. Much larger than we anticipated and simply an excellent layout stocked with everything we needed! It’s located in a quiet and nice neighborhood that is convenient to everything that we wanted to see within 5 to 6 minutes. A

Comfortable, Clean & Quiet

Place was much bigger than I anticipated. Nice quiet street that felt very safe. Backyard was fun for my dog. Bed was among the best I slept on during my 6 week road trip. Home was very well stocked with all the essentials & even had holiday decorations up. Really nice place all the way around. Mesilla is really cool, just very limited operating hours.

The property is in a nice location with little traffic. Close to Mesilla which was perfect for our trip. The big living room area was perfect for our family.

Nice property in convenient location

Everything was clean and comfortable. Really nice property. We enjoyed our stay. Only downside to the neighborhood is the train whistles in the middle of the night.

Quick trip

The property was easy to find. The neighborhood seemed like a decent place. The home was clean. Small pots and pan selection if you choose to cook. Spices for cooking available. Would stay here again.

Quaint Southwest Mesilla Home Is A JOY!!

This was our second visit to this beautiful home. Our hosts Amber and Lacy are so very accommodating and welcoming...its like being guests in a good friend's home. Great location

We were visiting Mesilla and this location was perfect. There were only two of us but the home could easily and comfortably host a larger group, with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The home was very comfortable and communication with the hosts was very prompt.

Amazing Stay

Such a cute house! Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out in the living room and enjoy time with family. Basic kitchen utensils. If we are ever back in Cruces will be booking with this property! Thank you Lacey and Amber! You have a beautiful house!

Cozy & welcoming

We booked this house for a weekend wedding. 3 family couples and 1 child. The location is easily accessible and in a nice neighborhood. We were impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the home. We really enjoyed the kitchen/dining area. There was plenty of driveway parking for 3 vehicles. All amenities and close to shopping and restaurants. Check in and out was a breeze!

Spacious house super close to NMSU. Front room floor was creaky/squeaky as expected of an older house. The steps up/down entering and exiting the kitchen could sure trip someone up if they are absent minded. We refrained from any falls and stubbed toes. Our only issue was the can opener just did not work. Host replied to my message about it that it would get replaced. We were there for a busy weekend so didn't spend must time in the actual house, but the location and spaciousness was ideal for our family of 4. Very shady driveway helps keep car cool in hot summer. Seemed like a lovely place to relax - if we'd had time for relaxing. Oh, the microwave is quite small. The normal sized dinner plates did not fit inside. It made for a hilarious experience trying to make our "quick" dinner of burritos when a large tortilla doesn't even quite fit flat inside! That plus the broken can opener gave us some funny memories of coping.
