BEGINNING MID-MARCH 2026 a new elevator will be installed. Guest will be required to take stairs and park outside building during stay. A discount will be offered for this inconvenience until installation completed at end of May. Second floor unit with amazing views of Galveston's West Bay.  Sunsets are spectacular from the large comfortable balcony.  Fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking are steps away from this unit.  A short drive across the street are the inviting large beaches of the Pointe West Community.

Quick Escape is a perfect condo for a family getaway or a couple's retreat.  The home has all full-size appliances and every comfort you would have in your own home.  Schedule your getaway with us and let the relaxation begin!

A short 30-minute drive puts you in the center of historic Galveston. You can tour mansions, walk The Strand, see the cruise ships arrive and depart, go to The Pier amusement park and so much more!

WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

PLEASE NOTE: RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY'S DURING THE SPRING/SUMMER TO RESTOCK AND CLEAN
AFTER LABOR DAY UNTIL OCTOBER 30, RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY

THE RESTAURANT AND GIFT SHOP ARE CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER 1-MARCH 1 EVERY YEAR
FITNESS CENTER, GAME ROOM AND POOLS ARE OPEN YEAR ROUND

THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

My family of four had a great stay at Pointe West and in this unit. We have enjoyed the heated pool, no vehicle beach area, and smores at the fire pit. We would highly recommend this place for a relaxed vacation. This specific unit had great views of the Marsh and Bay for morning bird watching.The host was very generous with starter supplies when we arrived and communicated very quickly with any questions. The unit was one of the cleanest we have stayed in at Pointe West, which is very important to us. We recommend staying here and will look forward to returning.

Perfect for us!

The condo is very nice and located within Pointe West, which has tons of amenities and things to do, plus beautiful beaches. Overall, the condo was clean, if not a little dusty in some spots. Communication with the property managers was super easy through the app and they were very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time on our family vacation. My only negative comment is the elevator buttons done work for the 2nd floor. Normally wouldn’t be a huge issue by I had my 80 year old mom.

Quiet, peaceful views

This property is a 20-30min drive from the craziness of Galveston and that was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, quiet, and had beautiful views on the large balcony.

America the Beautiful

The property was perfect for our family of four, clean, cozy, and exceeded expectations. Points West will be a frequent stay for us. The Beach Club was friendly, good food, good drinks, entertaining and perfect. Best 4th of July weekend ever. #merica

if you need an elevator don't rent this property

The overall property is nice and clean. I was traveling with my 84 year old parents and we rented this property because it advertised an elevator. It did not work and we were told by a resident that it is broken all the time. If you have a disabled loved one and need an elevator this is not the property for you.

Nice, quiet location

This was a Birthday trip to get away from the city and enjoy time by the beach and pool. Communication was prompt and most questions answered in the introduction emails. Condo was easily located and all codes worked without issue. Glad we chose this unit as the Air Conditioning worked great! It was very hot out and if we’d rented a unit that relied on the “Breeze” to cool us, we’d have been miserable. Internet worked great and we were able to log into our Netflix and Disney apps on the TV for entertaining the youngest. Beds were comfortable and the couches and balcony seating were clean and comfortable as well. Plenty of towels and washcloths and the large size shampoo and body wash helped. Nothing fancy, but they’ll get you clean. There were enough plates, bowls, silverware etc for our 4 adults and 2 young ones under 3. Stove, fridge with ice maker, toaster, Washer & Dryer, and dishwasher all worked The condo association reached out and we paid ahead of time for the resort wrist bands allowing access to the pools and beach club. We arrived after the club business hours so they sent us the code to access the lock box to retrieve our welcome packet, parking pass, and wrist bands. Easy Peasy. The pools were slightly busy but it was Fathers Day weekend. In the evening there were way fewer people. Make sure you don’t forget any items as shopping is 30 min away back in Galveston proper. There are 2 convenience stores that are closer but just know the prices there are very High.
