This private cottage has a brand new kitchen to make your favorite meal in after exploring the hiking trails of Whaleback, Houdek dunes, and Clay Cliffs just a few miles away. Sleep soundly in this 750 square foot cottage after driving through the Sleeping Bear National Park and Pierce Stocking Drive. Enjoy a cup of Light of Day tea on one of the two decks that overlook North Lake Leelanau or sip your local wine near the gas fireplace as you reflect on your fun shopping day in Fishtown and visiting local artist stores!. Perfect Retreat!

My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend and couldn’t have asked for more. What a beautiful area in such a romantic cottage. It’s close to everything and the views are amazing. Would definitely come back!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the White Pine Cottage for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! Beautiful rustic home with all modern amenities that is perfectly situated near Leland and short driving distance to Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor, and Traverse City. The owners are super friendly and communicated very well. We will definitely be returning to stay again!

Property was not available due to leak on day of rental - water remained the next day - requested new towels and never got them - WiFi didn’t work - water was flooding into the unit on Sunday and soaked the floor and some of our belongings - host ignored me even though the unit was not safe to stay in. Vrbo customer service was awful and left us without anywhere to stay in a foreign country - the unit needs to be removed from your site. I will never use vrbo again.

Perfect location for Leland, Sutton’s Bay, Glen arbor and northport. Cottage was adorable and had everything one could need Porch was delightful for am coffee and pm drinks.

Charming place

Lovely place for two, with dogs. We enjoyed this as a great base for looking around the north. Clean, charming small place to stay eith great facilities. We aim to stay there again!

Wonderful Cabin!

We enjoyed staying at this new cabin. Owners were very helpful and communication was excellent. You can see the pride they have in this home. The location is excellent. The Wifi could have been better, but the Roku worked well on the TV and we were able to use our cell service to complement the Wifi that was there in order to complete work we had to do on vacation.

Beautiful Cottage

My wife and I had a wonderful stay with our dog at this beautiful cottage that looks out over Lake Leelanau. The deck has multiple places to relax offering shade or sunshine. The cottage is well furnished with anything you would need for a weeks stay, the washer/dryer is a real plus. I was unsure from the listing if it had air conditioning but it does and the listing also said carbon monoxide detectors were uncertain but there are 3 of them. We would definitely stay here again!

Darling cottage, amazing location, thoughtful touches

I can't say enough positive things about our stay at this cottage. The location is great, the cottage was spotless, and I absolutely loved the decor - it's bright and airy and full of colorful local art. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, several Perriers chilling in the fridge, and plenty of soft, fluffy towels in the bathroom. The owners live in the cottage just below and very kindly lent us a tool when our rental car's tire went flat (bonus points for their sweet dog). We loved Leland and my husband declared this "one of his favorite places we have ever stayed." We can't wait to come back!

Just PERFECT

Property is as photographed and described, but even BETTER! Owner pride and craftsmanship on display here, with an eye for decorating and personal seasonal touches make this such a cozy retreat. Heated floors in primary bedroom and bath such a treat as the temperature dropped, and the gas fireplace in the living room removed the chill immediately. Exceeded every expectation!

Perfection

The pictures do not do this Cottage justice, beautifully decorated spotlessly clean and perfectly located. Owners were very nice and I cannot say enough good things about this cottage.

Beautiful property - we will be back!

This lovely cabin is close to everything the Michigan coast has to offer. Our family of two adults, our 6-year old child, and our two very small, non-shedding dogs had an excellent vacation this weekend! The amenities are exactly as described, and the property manager and owners were wonderful hosts. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family. *One minor note is that the internet isn’t really strong enough to work remotely/participate in virtual meetings, but for a vacation where work isn’t necessary it was excellent!
