Step into history at the Historic Hull House Inn, a beautifully preserved home built in 1887 and proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in the heart of downtown Murphysboro and surrounded by Southern Illinois wine country, this one-of-a-kind property offers charm, comfort, and a truly memorable stay. The home us also a Murphysboro land mark.

This inviting guest room is thoughtfully designed in warm, welcoming hues of yellow, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
Guests will enjoy a private attached bathrooms along with fresh towels and light snacks provided for your convenience.

During your stay, you’ll have access to the home’s spaces, including the grand parlor, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee bar. Step outside to unwind in the peaceful courtyard—ideal for relaxing or entertaining it also has a hot tub.

Additional amenities include guest parking and WiFi, ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience from start to finish.

Historic Hull House INN is owned and operated by Der Hanna Hauses LLC a company created in Memory of William “Bill” Hanna and is owned by a licensed IL real estate broker.

We spent the weekend at the Historic Hull House and it was one of the most phenomenal places we have ever stayed. This beautifully preserved historical home has the kind of charm and character you don't see anymore which I really enjoyed--especially as someone who enjoys homes from this time period. The host's hospitality made it feel genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived, with snacks waiting and all the little thoughtful touches too. The beds were very comfortable, and lots of charm everywhere. The location was great as shops and restaurants are just a short distance away. Highly recommend the Historic Hull House (HHH)!

We absolutely loved the house. The Hull House was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and inviting, and so welcoming with coffee, snacks, etc. We would love to stay there again and would advise anyone to stay at this beautiful historic home.

A gem in Southern Illinois

Our stay was very short, but an enjoyable one! Very nice and well kept together historical place with added amenities (snacks, coffee and soft drinks) to make the stay even better. Communication with host was great and timely. A place to consider for future stays!

Amazing!

Property was beautiful and intriguing! We loved all the antiques! My youngest loved that there were TVs in every room and we all loved the snacks! The hot tub was awesome too. Such a fun place to stay and close to amazing hiking.

Loved Hull House! It was every bit of the historic and vintage vibe we wanted. 5 moms on a quick girls trip. Great restaurants within walking distance and hit up several wineries with a shuttle for the day. Beds were comfortable and communication with the host was timely.

Historic home

Lovely home with beautiful yard. Every possible thing we could think of was provided for us. Very clean, comfy beds and pillows and great instructions for check-in and places to eat in the neighborhood. Would highly recommend to someone looking for historic beauty.

We came to M'boro for the Apple Festival and what a great spot for it!!!This lovely old home is right on the parade route and is just a block from all the festivities! Familt and friends could stay cool or cool off inside while watching the patade through that beautiful front bay window... some of our cousins plan to book for future gatherings. Thank you for your hospitality!!!
