Welcome to enjoy privacy in this elegant gated ocean view Mediterranean retreat in Malibu Broad Beach, which is designed and resided by a celebrity. Not located on sands but just steps from the beach. A center courtyard is fun and secured for children. Breathtaking ocean view in most rooms.
The attached gym opens to the courtyard with the view of garden. The luxury Men’s Cave can also be used as a media room and an office. No restroom in the men's cave . The master suite leads to the newly remodeled spa bathroom with claw-foot tub and steam shower. The front yard may allow 4 cars to park and street parking is available and free. It is only one traffic light away from the grocery with organic food, restaurants, playground, and Starbucks where is easy to run into plenty of celebrities, who live in our neighborhood. Easy to access to Pacific Coast Highway and five minutes driving to arrive at the famous Zuma Beach.

What an amazing place... I have rentals in Waikiki Beach, so I know this from both sides of the coin... I was a little confused in the beginning, and Jia was a good host and very responsive to my initial questions until I got things figured out and settled in... My girlfriend lives in LA. and I had never been there before, but was an enjoyable 2 weeks, the place is well furnished, and all amenities were in place, right up to the good shampoo and conditioner... The sunsets from the living room lanai were awesome, and after being in Nashville for 5 months I relished them... Is convenient to everything, 5 minute drive... Food and grocery deliveries were not any problem, I would recommend this place, near the beach, great sunsets, and decent stereo and sound in the living room, quiet, felt safe in the neighborhood... Overall we had a very enjoyable stay...

Host was welcoming, the property was lovely and well appointed. Everything was wonderful until an alarm went off late at night. We thought it was a security alarm and there was somebody on the property. We reached out to rhe host and she said it was a noise level alarm, when the house was completely quiet. Host said it malfunctions sometimes. It went off multiple times through the night. This was quiet unnerving.

Great getaway for a college reunion!

Home was a wonderful spot to re-unite with East Coast/West Coast college friends. Plenty of space with hideaway spots. Jacuzzi was an added bonus and spectacular view. Nearest beach access seemed a bit challenging.

Disappointed

We reserved this home a year for our daughter’s college graduation and the host cancelled on us one hour before check in. She stated she did not realize we had reserved and that the fires had closed HWY1 ( NOT true near the house.) We had flown from Washington, DC and the rest of the family from around the country. Wound up at a 2 star motel. We later saw she had done this to another guest as well.

Very nice property

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable property in Malibu. Very nice views of the ocean. Well-appointed with everything that you need. Easy access to the beach down a path across the street. Nice area to walk in. Be aware that there are steps to get in and steps to go down to the bedroom level. Those may can be a challenge for elderly or disabled people. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Beautiful home !

The home is large, comfortable, and has a beautiful view. The patio had some road noise but inside it was very quiet. Jia was very responsive. There were 8 of us and in the main house tgere were beds for 6. The remaining pullout couch is in a separate building very close to the main house, upstairs. The bathroom there was accessible only by going outside and down the stairs and back in by a different door. We decided to sleep on the living room couches in the main house instead which were very comfortable! We all loved our stay!

Family Malibu Getaway

We originally booked our stay for 3 nights from Thursday-Sunday and the day before check-in, the host Jia, reached out to let us know we couldn't check into the house until Friday due to a glitch in the system synching and there were guests already staying in the house until Friday. Initially, my family and I were upset and extremely heartbroken as our family had traveled far to get to Malibu and we had to scramble to find a last minute solution for them for Thursday. However, Jia was in consistent communication with me on helping find a solution and making things right. She apologized and was sympathetic to the situation. Not only did she reimburse me for Thursday night but she also credited us a night for our trouble. She was very responsive and accommodating. The weekend turned out to be absolutely perfect! The home was fantastic for our family who were gathering to celebrate the life of our mother who passed last year. She always loved Malibu and her wish was for us to be here together. The house is great for families, especially if you have kids, it's nice that it is privately gated so the kids can roam without running out into the street. There is plenty of room for everyone to sleep well without disturbing one another. Being able to have beach access so close to the house at Lechuza Beach was a dream. The neighbor who lives in front of the house was lovely. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone. We made some great memories. Thank you, Jia!

This place had literally everything you could want. Location, amenities, views, just perfect. Be mindful if you had a larger group that houses are very close by so noise really travels quickly, we were unaware at first but all in all an excellent stay, highly recommended. Host was super responsive and accommodating as well!
