Our home is in a no wake zone where you can kayak, swim, and float without the worry of boats speeding by. Conveniently located just around the corner from Bridgewater Marina, Heron's Nest is the perfect place to experience both thrill and relaxation. For those looking for a little adventure, we are just around the corner from Bridgewater Marina where you can rent a boat along with other water toys, shop, feed the carp, and more. Taking a break from the lake? Check out the local alpaca farm, antique shops, or tour the nearby winery. Our rental is a haven of peace and relaxation, where you can unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Fabulous and large enough for everyone

We loved it. We rented a pontoon and had so much fun on the lake as well as boating to restaurants for dinner. The only negative was about 12 hours a day (7 am to 7pm) there was LOUD construction on a house being built right next to this home, but this is not any fault of the homeowner and is also a temporary issue. I would love to see handrails installed on the steps/walkway leading to the dock, I have elderly parents who did struggle quite a bit on the pathway and so many steps. We loved it so much we want to rent this home again next year, would be beyond delighted if there were handrails in place next year! Aboslutely loved this gorgeous home and property. Very reasonably priced considering the spaciousness of the home and all the amenities like a private dock, gourmet kitchen, huge back decks, pool table, ping pong table, you name it they have it! xoxox

Great Lake house!

We had a great time. The one issue we had, owners were quick to respond and did everything in their power to correct. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!

This house was perfect for us! We had 12 of us staying and we had plenty of room. Everyone had their own room. There was enough seating in the dining room and living room. The kitchen was beyond stocked! It was nice not having worry about finding an extra plate, silverware, serving bowls, etc. Never made it to the media room. There is also a poker table but never found any poker chips. They could have been there but we didn’t have time to play. The stairs going to the dock were not unbearable and very manageable. We were able to rent 3 jet skis and keep them at the dock plus 2 boats (we couldn’t use the lifts, but there was room to keep them there) and being in a no wake zone… BONUS!! The only thing I would have preferred is they provided linens. I had to rent them and the quality of the towels were not to my liking. And there was no way I could have brought enough for everyone. We would definitely rent again if we have a large group.

Hi there! We're Carleton and Ashley with deluxesmlhomes.com and we can't wait to host you! We love SML so much that after only one visit we decided to look for a home of our own here. We found and fell in love with our first home and decided to share the magic of SML with others:) It turns out so many of you loved our home, too so when the opportunity to buy the home next door came up we jumped on it. We now offer two large, beautiful homes in the same cul-de-sac, just a short paddle or swim away. We love spending as much time there as possible and love meeting our guests if we are there at the same time. Everyone has been so kind and complimentary of our home. We have poured so much time, energy, and love into our homes and love when people love them as much as we do!

We love the neighborhood for the wide roads which are great for a morning jog or evening walk, kind neighbors, quiet/peaceful neighborhood, and the wildlife. My littlest one loves seeing all the deer when we go on walks and is constantly asking to go on rides to the end of the cove to see turtles, blue herons, and eagles. We love being in a no wake zone on the lake which makes for great kayaking and paddle-boarding, and seeing boaters go to and from Jake's place. Our baby learned to wave from all the friendly boaters slowly going by day in and day out:)

Our home has a kitchen that is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We have a theater room, pool, ping pong, and poker tables all on the lower level. Heron's Nest sits in a no wake zone but is right around the corner from Bridgewater marina where you can rent boats, jetskis, and other water toys, feed the carp, and go shopping. We offer adult and child kayaks and our dock is set up with bluetooth speakers, lounge chairs, hammock chairs, swivel chairs around a table so you can relax in whatever way you suits you best!
