Creekside Comfort NC - Creekside cabin minutes from amazing hiking and skiing.

Inspired by the surrounding landscape, Creekside Comfort NC was designed to make your visit a unique, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. With 2 king master bedrooms on the main level, this 3BR/3BA, pet friendly cabin (extra charge) is on a rocky creek in a cozy, wooded setting with seasonal mountain views and only minutes to hiking, skiing, and shopping. The wood-burning outdoor fire pit, by the creek, is a wonderful place to gather. There is a covered front & side porch, as well as a covered rear porch and an open-air deck with outdoor dining table and eating bar that over looks Shanty Creek. The cabin has nearby access to some of the best hiking in NC, including the Grandfather Profile Trail. This cabin is conveniently located just off of HWY 105; between the Boone & Blowing Rock area and around the corner from Sugar Mountain, central to much of what the High-Country offers. This property features exterior security cameras. The cameras are street facing only and do not face the property.

This is our 4th or 5th time staying at Creekside Comfort, and it’s one of our top favorite places to stay. Kimberly is very welcoming and responsive with any needs or questions we may have. The house is always clean and we love how everything is labeled, from light switches to the kitchen cabinets… it really makes it so much easier to figure out where or what something is. Our absolute favorite thing to do is sit out on the lower deck overlooking the creek, no matter how cold… there are plenty of blankets provided to warm up with. We took our kids snow tubing at Sugar Mountain and did the Alpine Roller Coaster and the house was within 10 minutes of both places, so that was perfect! We can’t wait to return again!

The host was incredible! The cabin is absolutely perfect, and has EVERYTHING you need. Our family of 5 had such a great stay that we didn’t want to leave. We had a minor setback with some vehicle trouble, and the host recommended a mechanic that got us squared away quickly. Communication was excellent, the setting of the cabin is ideal, and we can’t wait to go back.

This cabin was extremely well appointed, clean, and organized. The inside has a great layout and there were plenty of charming outdoor spaces to enjoy the scenery and the river. The location was close to the towns of Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock, as well as plenty of hikes. We did not ski but it was close. Communication with the host was easy and thorough. This is a well cared for property and every detail has been thought of!

Cozy and well appointed, this pristine home had everything we could have wanted. Comfortable beds, a one-touch fireplace, every kitchen tool and appliance one could need, blankets galore, and instructions to make everything easy and worry free. The sound of the rushing creek in the backyard was like a natural sound machine. The landscaping is magical and mossy. Nearby grocery store is well stocked, and the drive to Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain State Park are both less than 30 mins. A perfect holiday stay! (Right down to the twinkling lights on the tree and the gorgeous outdoor garland welcoming you to the front door!)

Beautiful property, very clean, and everything you need is provided, well labeled, and organized. Nicely decorated and shows pride of ownership. Great communication with owner. We enjoyed family dinners at big table in kitchen. Indoor gas fireplace, outside deck, firepit and babbling creek with rocks were stunning as well as the landscaping. Location was convenient, next to grocery and liquor store and central to all tourist attractions. Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Alpine coaster, Grandfather Trout Farm, Grandfather Mountain and Winery. We also went shopping in Blowing Rock and Boone and visited Linville Falls Winery and the new Mill Camp Winery in Boone. We will be back!

This gem far exceeded our expectations! We had 4 adults 2 kids and a dog with plenty of space. Late August provided cool temperatures allowing us to enjoy the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The kids (and dog) loved playing in the creek. This was by far the best well-stocked & organized cabin we have ever rented. 10 out of 10 !!!

Perfect Spot

Great property for much needed rest and relaxation. Enjoyed many meals outside on the deck. Appreciative of attention to detail such as well stocked kitchen, labeled light switches and tv instructions. Perfect location to Boone, Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain. When you walk into a VRBO and within the first 30 minutes, you and your husband are both saying ‘I wonder if they’d be interested in selling this (fully furnished, of course), I’d love to live here!’, you know you’ve picked a wonderful place to stay!! That is the way we felt about Creekside Comfort…we didn’t want to leave. The home is fully stocked with everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Kim and Derald have anticipated your needs and have taken care of it in advance! From the fabulous beds and linens to the fully stocked kitchen to the most comfortable couches ever, we felt spoiled and didn’t want to leave the house. But the true selling point of this home was sitting on the back porch, rocking in the rocking chairs and listening to the sounds of the creek! Even in the rain, we sat on the porch and drank our morning coffee and then ended our day with a drink and snacks out there, sitting at the table. We didn’t get to use the fire ring, too wet, but we did sit down by the creek and enjoy the serenity. All of this to say, I highly recommend Creekside Comfort for a wonderful vacation stay!

Perfect Stay

Our family loves the NC mountains, and this cabin was perfect. 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everything was easy to find. Our host responded to our questions in a timely manner and the creek! Our grandchildren loved playing in the creek and I could hear the creek at night from our bedroom. Very relaxing time. Thank you!

Just book it!

Amazing home. Amazing location. Everything you could need and more. I love this location. Away from the road without having to traverse a lot of windy mountain roads. The constant sound of water flowing. Immaculate landscaping, beautiful home and everything is comfortable. Coffee on the porch in the morning listening to the river and fires in the fire pit at night. This home is amazing. The house is complete stocked with every convenience and the beds and furniture are very comfortable. We love Creekside a comfort and will be back here many times more.

Lovely welcoming host, amazing house with every comfort and thoughtfulness you could imagine. Amazing location. Close to skiing, hiking, and small town. Wish the weather were better when we went so we could have enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous backyard with roaring creek, firepit, and outdoor dining. Total 10/10!

The cabin in North Carolina was absolutely fantastic! Everything was impeccably organized, with thoughtful touches that went above and beyond to provide anything you could possibly need. The cleanliness was outstanding, making it feel so welcoming and comfortable. A lovely cabin

The house was fully stocked and everything was labeled for easy access. Beds were comfortable and the furnishings are on the higher end. They also decorated for Christmas which made it cozy. We enjoyed our stay! Kimberly is an excellent host who communicated quickly and thoroughly.

Serenity Plus

From the first contact with Kim to the last on checkout day, our stay was wonderful! The cabin is beautifully decorated inside and out. The horticulture was gorgeous! The deck and porches were very comfortable and amazing to sit out on with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Everything is labeled with directions. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable. Kim has a book that covers EVERYTHING inside her cabin, to things in and around the community. She even had a welcome basket filled with yummy treats. We seriously hated having to leave. It’s amazing that Kim allows people to rent this home. If it were mine, I’d have a hard time sharing it. The cabin looks brand new and is spotless! We will totally be back and are highly recommending it for anyone wanting a beautiful piece of serenity!!
