Vincent was a great host. He made sure we had all the information we needed to enter the building and our room/bathroom. The neighborhood was cute and walkable with good places to eat and get coffee. We did have a car and parking here later in the day was difficult. Every night we had to park a block or two away from the building and be very careful of parking signs. Not the worst scenario, but something to consider. Parking is technically free, but you need to put a little work into it. The listing could be more transparent about the stay being up multiple flights of stairs especially for people with luggage. I also think the listing needs a photo of the separated room and bathroom for those who miss that description. The front door, room, and bathroom had electric locks that were a bit confusing on our first day but we figured them out quickly. There’s a lot of noise in the building from outside and other occupants that seemed to have more permanent stays. We didn’t find it to be a problem, but I could see others being unhappy. Lastly, the room was clean enough but absolutely could use a deep clean especially on the walls. The sheets and towels were satisfactory. In all this was a good stay for the price and we got the essentials covered.
