The home was lovely. The house was immaculate and well cared for. The owner was friendly and responsive when we had questions. And we were thrilled we were able to enjoy sunsets from the back porch.

This was a lovely house with a good layout for our family to spread out and still be together. The view from the porch was beautiful over the marsh - so peaceful. The house was nice but comfortably furnished with all that we needed. The owner went out of her way to accommodate us and answer all questions. We would love to stay here again.

Great house and location

Great experience for our first family vacation on Fripp Island. The house was spacious and the owner was very accessible and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. One golf cart was included and we rented a second one. Beach access was easy and beautiful views from the house. Loved watching all the deer in the backyard every night!

Perfect!

We go to Fripp every year and loved staying at this property. The marsh views are beautiful, we loved sitting on the back porch as often as we could. The house has everything you could possibly need from a super well-stocked kitchen to beach toys and chairs to a golf cart. Sandy was super communicative and helpful. We will be back!

Beautiful home!

We loved staying at this home. We’ve been coming to Fripp for 15 years, and Sandy’s home helped make this one of our most memorable stays ever. It was perfect for our family of 10. We had littles as young as 3 and our oldest is 14. The space was perfect-the kitchen was well stocked and the sunset views from the back porch were unforgettable. The location is ideal for getting everywhere on the island. Sandy was communicative and helpful in every way. We will definitely book this property again!

A bit run down

Our family stayed at this property for a week in July. We’ve been vacationing in Fripp for many years and have stayed at several different properties on the island. Sadly, this was collectively, our least favorite. In addition to having to wait 55 minutes for the cleaning crew to finish so that we could get our things moved in, following are some of the issues we had while there: *The golf cart that came with the house didn’t take a charge and couldn’t be used. On the second day, the owners made arrangements to have another cart dropped off. We didn’t have use of the cart the first day and night which necessitated us shuttling people to the beach. *The first night, the upstairs thermostat had come away from the wall and stopped working. The upstairs (where most of the bedrooms are) reached over 80 degrees. Not a comfortable nights sleep. The owner called their HVAC person and someone (my husband and myself) had to wait for someone to arrive and repair. This took several hours. Another large chunk of the day wasted… *Every rug in the house (in the bedrooms and the living room) are sisal. Literal sand traps (disgusting) and so uncomfortable to walk on in barefeet. *The kitchen has no decent frying pan and no serving bowls or utensils to speak of. *The house is in need of a deep clean. The garages and storage areas are best avoided if possible.

Hi Thomas, I am sorry you had these issues and you feel this way. As you know I jumped on these immediately and got everything corrected.. Even after my husband passed away unexpectedly and was buried less than a week earlier. You texted me at 4:00 am Sunday morning complaining about the HVAC. The HVAC company was out there by 10:00 am on A Sunday. I bet you could not get that done at your own house if you had an issue. Nothing was wrong with it and no one has complained before or after you. The HVAC company said you left doors open too long and housekeeping did too. The golf cart dealership said you did not have it all the plugged in. The cleaners apparently had a mess after the renters before you. They don’t do deep cleaning during the weekly cleaning because of the quick turn over for the next renter. You arrived on the island around 1:00 pm check in is at 4:30. Yes, you had more complaints in that one week that I have had in all 13 years of renting. Sorry for the issues.

Wonderful Thanksgiving

Our family had a wonderful time at the property, the location was great for us as we loved the marsh views with easy access to the beach with a short golf cart ride. House was very clean and had great space for our group of 9 adults and teens. The house really had everything you would need and the owner was great to work with in regards to communicating.

Stokes Family trip

Our family loves the beauty, peace, relaxation, nature of Fripp. This house afforded us the comfortable room to relax& enjoy being together with out being crowded or cramped. The house was well planned, furnished & provisioned for our group. We had a most enjoyable week!

Perfect!

Sandy was great at communicating and helped us with any questions we had. Her home is beautiful, held 3 families comfortably and had a fully equipped kitchen with lots of extra refrigerators which was a huge plus. There were lots of extra toys for our kids to enjoy. We loved the golf cart rides to the beach, to get ice cream and to visit with the deer. Fripp Island is absolutely one of our families favorite places to come each summer. I would highly recommend this home to any of my friends. Thanks again Sandy for your hospitality. Everything was wonderful!

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay and the house was set up perfectly for our needs. Sandy was so responsive and helpful with all our questions. We loved the views off the screened in porch each morning and evening. The beds were all comfortable!

Wonderful Fripp Island Home

We had a wonderful time staying at 66 Davis Love. Our hosts were great with communication and everything in the house was exactly as mentioned in the listing. Simple check-in and check-out. What a beautiful marsh view from the back porches! Our family had plenty of room and enjoyed all of the amenities this house offers. I hope to stay here again soon.

This home is very clean and well maintained. The homeowner puts many personal touches in the home to make it feel like home. It is very tastefully decorated. The area is perfectly located on the island. Close to golf course, nature center, beach, the community crabbing/fishing dock and all the amenities. Also this home is kid friendly. One could not want to rent or stay at a better home. It just feels like home. The owner is very easy to work with and is there if you need anything. While stay/rent it again.

Fantastic! Favorite place on Fripp!

We have been coming to Fripp for many years and this house is our favorite place to stay! Thank you Sandy for being so easy to work with and for sharing your lovely home. We just spent the end of March/first week of April in Fripp. When the wind picked up at the beach, we spent our afternoons on the "concrete beach" (driveway) out front watching the golfers and deer go by. We cooked great meals in the well equipped kitchen and spent our evenings with cocktails on the porch watching the sunset over the marsh, which is exactly where we started our day with a cup of coffee. So glad we planned ahead and are looking forward to returning here the first week of July! Thanks again for everything!!!

Paradise at its best!

My husband and I have visited Fripp numerous times but we were showing another couple the island for the first time. This home was everything we hoped for. The home was clean, spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The view from the back decks were incredible morning and night. We started our day with coffee on the porches and ended our nights with cocktails on the porches. Paradise at its best! The home was well stocked with everything you could possible need. No detail has been neglected. The owners were a pleasure to work with and seemed to take pride in their home. Thank you for sharing your home, it was an incredible trip.....can't wait to return next year!
