Collins Mountain Cottage-15 minutes from Downtown Asheville

Welcome to the Collins Mountain Cottage, your idyllic retreat nestled among the beautiful woodlands of Asheville, NC! Our 1-king bed, 1.5-bath all-wood cottage offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, located just 15 minutes from the vibrant heart of downtown Asheville. Curl up with a good book or explore the beautiful outdoors of Western NC. Designed with the perfect couples getaway in mind, our inviting and cozy space promises an intimate and unforgettable escape.

The fireplace is inoperable! There are two oscillating heaters in the cottage if the guest needs them.

The cottage is just a 15 minute drive along Riverside Drive to Downtown Asheville. The Biltmore Estate is ~25 minutes from the cottage. You will also be ~10 minutes from the coffee shops & restaurants of Downtown Woodfin.
There are a number of neighboring houses near the cottage. One of the houses to the right of the cottage is occupied by full time tenants. The area is very quiet and peaceful, it is likely that you may not see anyone while you are there.

THE DRIVEWAY IS STEEP
The driveway is relatively steep with a sharp left turn on the way up and right turn on the way down. It should not be an issue for any vehicle during the majority of the year. If you are planning to visit in months where snow/ice may occur (December-early March), a vehicle with 4WD may be necessary.
PARKING
The property will allow for a maximum of (2) vehicles. Both vehicles can be parked to the left side of the house, please make an effort to ensure your vehicle is out of the shared driveway.
