The Best Place in Breckenridge!

We had the most amazing time at the Historic Brown in Breckenridge! The place was beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and truly perfect for any season. The location couldn’t be better: you’re right downtown, which makes it so easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and everything Breckenridge has to offer. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back!

A week to remember forever!!!

I don't even have enough words for The Historic Brown. We had an amazing week there for our wedding celebration. Mark and Carmen put so much love into this home and it shows, it is STUNNING! This was a trip we will remember forever, and I couldn't be more grateful for them and being so flexible. 1000/5 stars from us! Andrew was very responsive if we needed anything throughout our stay.

A top to bottom. There were nine of us and everyone agreed the place was great. Well appointed kitchen beyond belief. Espresso/coffee maker was a big winner. Just a great place to hang out together.

Gorgeous restored old hotel in a super convenient spot in Breckenridge—extremely walkable to town but still felt like it was tucked away on a quiet street. Amenities are fantastic, kitchen was mostly well-stocked, beds were comfortable and plentiful! Lots of space to spread out even with a big group. We were here during the summer but would love to stay in winter at some point! Highly recommend.

The stay and amenities exceeded all our expectations. Communication with the host was prompt and pleasant. We were easily able to host a 14 person dinner and folks could split up in the evening to watch a movie, hit the hot tub or sauna, or just curl up with a book. We would definitely stay here again

Perfect place in a perfect location.

Second time staying here for 10 days. 2 grandparents, 6 adult children and 7 young grandchildren. House layout is large with numerous areas to hang out together or have a small chat or along time. Oxygen in master bedroom has saved my wife and I each trip. Location close to town allows morning walks for pastries and coffee, nearby parks and restaurants for dinner. 5th year in a row we have come to family trip in Colorado and this is the best overall place we have found.

A great experience

We stayed there this fall. It is amazing! It has everything you could need and more. It’s conveniently located in town. We loved the hot tub and the game room. Mark and his staff were very hospitable and were great to work with. They went the extra mile to make sure our stay was great. It will not disappoint!

Most amazing place!

This is one of the most amazing places you can stay with your family and friends! They even had fresh flowers and a charcuterie waiting for us! Next level! A block from the Main Street downtown. We walked everywhere. It was so luxurious and convenient. Will definitely be coming back!

History and Elegance Await

We recently hosted our extended family at The Historic Brown in Breckenridge. Wow, what an awesome experience! The beautiful and luxurious amenities throughout the house were enjoyed by all: sauna, steam room, hot tub, movie projection screen, and arcade games to name a few. The house is nestled in the heart of downtown Breckenridge - a quick walk to shops, restaurants, and the Breck Connect Gondola. We all enjoyed learning about the rich history of this unique property and were amazed by the renovation and restoration that transformed this historic house into an extraordinary place to stay.

Fantastic property!!

This was the most amazing rental property any of our family have ever stayed at! Cleanliness was top notch and the amenities were great. We hosted a small family dinner for our elopement and the main level was the most amazing space for hosting. We had a chef come cook us a meal and she said it was one of the best kitchens she had ever cooked in! We hope to come back again one day.

Historic Brown is Simply Amazing

From the easy communications, to the unbelievable amenities (sauna, spa, hot tub, comfortable beds, poker chips and table, video games, boot warmer and 100 more I could mention) to the ridiculously convenient location, the Historic Brown is simply one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in (ski town or otherwise). Enjoyed so much, I have booked for next year already! A special, gorgeously renovated home that is perfect for any group.

This was the best rental property my guests and I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had amazing appliances and was stocked with spices and plenty of dishes/plates/utensils. Each bedroom had a clean, beautifully designed bathroom with shower toiletries, hair driers, and robes (!!) provided. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. We loved the sauna and the outdoor space with the fire pit. Will be booking this again and recommending to everyone I know.

BEST VRBO EVER!!!

We have stayed in several VRBO homes but this by far was the most comfortable and well appointed home our family has experienced! The owner and his house manager went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect! Incredibly convenient location! We had car trouble and they even loaned us a vehicle! The Brown was perfect for our group. They’ve done a wonderful job renovating the hotel and it was a delight to explore all the generous amenities. Pebble ice machine and Jura and traeger grill were fan favorites. Thanks for sharing this home with us. The ghost was very friendly.

Incredible location for work retreat!

This home was the perfect setting for our three-day work retreat. Each bedroom included a private bathroom, providing everyone with personal space while still offering plenty of inviting areas for co-working throughout the day. The large, modern kitchen, cinema room, hot tub, and sauna made our stay both productive and relaxing. The reservation process was seamless, and the owners/property managers were responsive, professional, and attentive to every detail. This experience far surpassed the typical “vacation rental”—it’s clear the homeowners truly understand how to make guests feel comfortable and at home. Intimate Wedding

We were absolutely blown away with this property! It looks exactly like the pictures, the amenities are new, in excellent condition and everything worked flawlessly due to the communication efforts and instructional videos. We had an intimate wedding celebration and were able to host our dearest friends and family comfortably. I would consider myself so lucky to get to stay at this property again.

Perfect location - incredible amenities!

We booked this home for the location, amenities and number of families that could stay in it together. It was absolutely perfect in the proximity to town and the number of bedrooms we needed. We enjoyed the main level where all the family could have a meal together, cook together and watch tv together. The kids loved the basement area and the games! The outdoor space was incredible with the snow falling each day and the hot tub was awesome to come home to after a long day skiing. Knowing the history of this location and the ability to be able to be in town in 3 minutes was great! We loved the home and can't wait to come back! The owner did a great job with the finishes - very high end. We can't wait to see you next year!

Spectacular Historic Home Downtown Breckenridge

Words cannot describe the beauty and comfort of this totally renovated home. It is so awesome to stay in a place you know has original components from the mid-1800’s, but all the modern amenities of the 2020’s! The owners have done and thought of everything, from the oxygen enhanced system, making your sleeping seamless when coming up to altitude, to the tiny details of brass plates tagging the drawers in the kitchen so you know where everything you could possibly need, is located. We were one of their first guests, and they could not have been more helpful or welcoming! We loved being able to walk into town in two minutes!

Seriously the best rental ever!

This was the best rental property my guests and I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had amazing appliances (latte making coffee machine, massive stovetop, big refrigerator, pebble ice machine) and was stocked with spices and any kind of dishes/cups/plates/utensils you could need. Each bedroom had a clean, beautifully designed bathroom with shower toiletries, hair driers, and robes provided. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. We loved the sauna and the outdoor space with the fire pit. We were obsessed with the small details - newspapers found in the walls from the 1800s, QR codes describing the history, a cozy couch in the basement with a projector to watch TV. I could go on and on. Will be booking this again and recommending to everyone I know.

Thank you so much for creating a warm and welcoming home away from home. Our staff totally loved being in the space. From the Rec Room to the loft, you created an environment that made our staff relax and feel at home. And we were more productive in conducting our business. Thank you so much for sending your dad Jim over to fix my toilet. I knew I didn’t see the chain but, didn’t want to make more damage to the toilet. I have already spread the word about your beautiful mansion and hope to come back for more than one night.

Exceptional home top to bottom.

I book large homes a couple times a year and this is far and away the most well-appointed home I have booked. It is true to the pictures/description/location, but more than that the details are so well thought out that it creates a different vacation experience than any other home I have booked. All the drawers and cabinets are labeled and full of anything you might need. The steam room and sauna actually work, the Traeger has backup pellets, the coffee maker is full of coffee and allows anyone to make a custom cup in just seconds. There are trash bags, and condiments, and spices, and dish soap, and nice towels, and good knives, and ice makers that never run out, and comfortable furniture, and sonos speakers, and instructions on how to use everything, etc, etc, etc. This list just scratches the surface on everything that is provided, it really is different than any other house you are considering. It is clear the owners took pride in this home, it will exceed your expectations.
