Loung Room Retreat - 3 Blocks to Mayo Campus

I am originally from North Dakota and my wife is from NW Iowa. We have 3 young boys. We've live in Rochester now for 21 years. Both my wife and I work at Mayo Clinic in Radiation Oncology. Our boys keep us very busy! We spend 90% of our free time outdoors all year round.

My wife and I have lived in Rochester for the past 20 years in the same neighborhood as our short term rentals. We love this neighborhood and the neighbors. We are just a couple blocks from Mayo Clinic which is very nice being able to walk to work in minutes. Our neighborhood is very unique. We are right in the heart of the city, next to the worlds greatest hospital, yet this neighborhood is tucked in right next to the Cascade creek and trail system. At night and on the weekends it is so quiet and peaceful. You would never guess we are in the city center. Our family takes advantage of the running/biking trails, fishing and kayaking on the Cascade creek, and the many parks within walking distance. We love walking to the local coffee shops and restaurants downtown. We love meeting guests that travel from all over the world that come to Rochester!!

This property is just 3 blocks North of Mayo Clinic's downtown campus. This is the closest residential neighborhood to downtown Mayo campus. Mayo Clinic's Bold Forward initiative is investing in a brand new hospital and facilities with state of the art healthcare just a couple from this house. The Jacobson Proton center, and the new Anderson Proton center, along with Gonda, Mayo, Methodist buildings, and the brand new hospital are within a 5-10 minute walk from this home. There are over 65 miles of biking/running trails 1 block from the house along with many restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores.
