Reviewer Comments: The Moorings is our happy place. Our lovely condo, the pool, the beach, and the competent and friendly staff make Sanibel Moorungs the perfect pkace to stay. Even as Sanibel still recovers from Ian the Moorings is in great shape and ready for guests!

Sanibel Moorings: peaceful comfort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo we rented at Sanibel Moorings was absolutely gorgeous. It had recently been renovated after hurricane Ian and the design choices are lovely. We had everything we needed in the condo including a well equipped kitchen where we prepared a traditional thanksgiving dinner. The staff was friendly and check in and check was easy peasy. The option of 2 pools allowed us to select the quiet dockside pool where we often had the area to ourselves. While many condos on Sanibel have not yet reopened, the Moorings has many of their units reopened and welcoming guests. The beach is glorious (as usual!) and full of shells. We saw dolphins everyday swimming just6 feet off the beach. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! PS: bring bug spray because the “no see ‘ums” were pesky!

Stay was nice

Overall everything was great. Only thing that needs improvement was comfort of mattresses in this unit. Felt like I was sleeping in the floor. Very clean and property was very cool with gardens and amenities.

Perfect stay

This was our first time to Sanibel and we will be back. The property is gorgeous and very well kept. It has a quiet, family atmosphere. We used the grill area almost every night, they were clean and up to date. We were able to easily explore the island from this location, although watch out for the traffic on the main rd of the island, it can get backed up. The unit had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Screened porch was a favorite.

Beautiful grounds

We knew about, and thoroughly enjoyed, the short walk to the beach, the lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach, and the public lounging area along the canal/estuary. I hadn’t known, though, about the beautiful grounds, with a vast range of flowering orchids, trees, and bushes, and with many of them labeled, especially the unusual ones. Plus the wild marsh bunnies, which were awesomely cute.

Perfect place for relaxing vacation!

This was our first time to Sanibel and this condo was perfect for our family! Super clean and homey feeling and had everything we needed. The staff was great to work with and answered all my questions. Best part is the location to the beach! Just a few steps away and we were lounging in the provided chairs with an umbrella. We will definitely visit again!

Great location

Very convenient location, on beach and right off the bridge. Condo had a well stocked kitchen, plenty of dishes and cooking equipment. Comfortable beds. Everything was excellent.
