Try out the Battleship themed escape room with treasure chest at the end, play life sized Operation and Monopoly, drop the Mousetrap on our toy mouse, have fun with the Nintendo Switch, play Chutes and Ladders or Candyland on playable blankets, and more!

If you're looking for a place to make memories at NRG National Park, this is the one for you! We suggest stuff to do when you book!
The space
The game house has been recently renovated with a new kitchen and bathroom, and state of the art HVAC, not to mention all of the fun decor.

You enter the front door into kitchen, which features custom countertops of the New River Gorge area landmarks and playable river game. The fridge is made up to look like a vintage gameboy, with Mario magnets. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you'll need to cook including a dishwasher, induction oven, microwave, and electric kettle with pour over coffee setup.

You'll find custom art everywhere, from the welcome in the kitchen to the board game wall in the connected living room. The living room includes a 75in smart TV, Nintendo Switch, and BlueRay player. We also have the dining table with a working mouse trap above. Chess pieces are on the ceiling, Clue characters decorate the walls, a popcorn machine, and several kinds of colored lighting make the room cozy.

The living room includes a large sofa to spread out on and watch movies and two cots, which include comfortable memory foam toppers and game themed playable blanket games.

The living room also opens out onto a small deck, which includes a table and chairs, and stairs down to the yard. In the yard we have a BBQ grill, fire pit, and of course yard games.

The biggest yard game is NRG-OPOLY, which comes with all of the pieces needed to play a full game of Monopoly, with you and your family acting as the playing pieces.

Back inside, a small hallway has a linen closet with extra towels and personal care items if you forget something. We also have our own tiny escape room, themed around the board game Battleship. The escape room is designed to be played without outside help, QR codes for hints if you need them, and a good bit easier so kids can be helpful in figuring out the clues.

The bathroom has been freshly remodeled and includes a full shower and tub along with game-themed bathroom decor, and an LED color-changing shower head.

The master bedroom allows parents to close the door and let the kids hang in the other room or additional room to spread two cots out in the master. The king size bed includes memory foam for a good night's rest and a great place to hang out when playing the games in this room. We have playable Connect 4, Scrabble, and Pictionary on the walls - and even a giant playable Operation.

The curtains here and in the living room are blackout curtains to be sure you sleep well. Behind the curtain on the other side of the master is a huge closet outfitted with several hundred games, with games for pre-school age, family-oriented, and up to serious board gamer options.

You have full access to the home. The game house is the second story above a 4-car garage, which you won't have access to unless you need to use the washer and dryer.
Other things to note
The location is walking distance from Retro Reset and Jade Tiger Games, which sell video and board games and arcade games. We are also a short walking distance from Tudor's Biscuit World, which is some of the best breakfast West Virginia has to offer. Others within walking distance include McDonald's, Little Caesars, a Diner, and The Frozen Barn for ice cream.

EV Charging - We have a 14-50 plug if you are coming with your Tesla or other EV, just bring your portable 220 charger. =)

The New River Gorge National Park is only 15min away, with all of the beautiful scenery, hiking, rafting, rock climbing, and zip lining that it is famous for. The Ace Adventure waterpark is only a 10min drive
