Within a private controlled-access beach-front community, this house is 150 steps from a 2-mile quiet secluded beach with a natural 3ft. deep seapool in front of villa used by adults and small children in wintertime. It is similar to the great reserve properties of the world at a fraction of the price. It is 2,800 sq. ft, three bedrooms (1 King bed in masters , 2 twin beds and a queen bed in separate guest rooms), which allow the house to sleep 6. If you have additional children, hotel type cots may be made available for up to 2 more. It also has 2 ½ baths and two parking in front of the villa. WHEN RESERVING at Punta GET a 3 Bedroom, there are 2 bedrooms convertible to 3 but not the same. The 3 has the awesome rooftop terrace and much more ROOM. Awesome ocean views from villa front siting area and roof terrace from which to enjoy the sunset and star gazing every evening. Common activities include Punta beach and family sea Pool at Punta, visiting other nearby beaches, sailing, boating, whale watching, scuba (ex. Desecheo and Mona island), fishing, sea shell collecting at Punta, bird watching, tennis ( tennis racquets included) at Punta, swimming and surfing, star gazing.Excellent budget friendly local cuisine and excellent international fare including fresh seafood.The three-story villa has two terraces. It comes equipped with air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room , high speed Internet and Internet tv ( no cable tv) and fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances ( refrigerator/freezer dishwasher, microwave,/ oven/stove etc.), The entrance, dining, living room and patio on the first floor. The villa also includes a 50-inch flat screen/smart TV ( amazon, netflix etc) in the family room as well as a flat-screen in the Master bedroom. It has , kitchen utensils/silverware, beach camp chairs, 2 boogey boards, towels, washer/dryer and high-thread count linens. Use of clubhouse pool is free .

Very pleasant

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. Christopher and his wife are extremely helpful and very welcoming. The location cannot be beat! You are literally steps from the beach. The beach is very clean and relaxing. There is a natural tide pool that is just perfect if you are traveling with children. Our toddler loved it! You are very close to town, grocery stores and amazing restaurants. The condo is very spacious and well equipped. The only downside was the wifi, the signal is very weak. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely come back!

We thank you for your excellent review and your kind words about us and are glad you loved your vacation and will be back! Kim B. and family are very nice people and treated our villa as if it was their own. We agree the wifi signal is not strong in this virgin ocean front area but functional for work purposes, emails etc. Recently an attorney and engineer stayed and informed they were continuously able to communicate through email with their offices. We do recommend in our listing that guests bring dvds or downloaded movies as it is true signal is not strong in the Rincon area. We look forward to seeing you again soon in extraordinary Rincon ! Clean, quiet, family enviroment and safe

We chose this villa beacuse we wanted to be close to the beach, since apparently it had a small area for kids. However, the shallow area for kids was gone. That was not a problem since there are other beaches close by. The villa was clean, everything was provided for us, literally we only brought our clothes and food, and some beach stuff, other than that Chris provided everything. Is a safe area, my father in law walked around every morning and afternoon around the area. I will come back

Thanks for your nice review! Guest was very nice and left the house in good shape. The small area referred to is the sea tide pool for children and adults which at times washes out due to low tides only in summer. The next week it was there again. Outdated and expensive

Though we paid more than our friends at the same time, house was outdated and barely furnished. We hung out at our friends most of the time. No patio furniture, two small sofas from the 80’s in the living room. Wouldn’t mind if we didn’t pay top $.

I thank guest for his review although entirely disagree with the same. Sofas are recent but not flashy or leather, these are single color beige cotton fabric. Guest asked for a lower price which was provided and accepted/paid. This house has a prime location , he may be referring to another cheaper option which is possibly not the best of locations. A Free full day late checkout was provided when guest informed his flight was not until late at night. That occurred as he was first offered a unsolicited free basic late checkout ( a few hours) and he responded his flight was late at night, so a free day stay was provided to help him. All ACs , linens/towels, ,curtains etc. are new . Beach camp style chairs are provided to use for patio or beach.

Thank you for our stay!

First let me say that the owners of this property are just as amazing as the location! The resort is tucked away in a beautiful and relaxing setting. Checking in to the condo was easier than checking into any hotel. We were greeted upon arrival and owners gave us a tour and any information needed for our stay. The condo itself was clean, spacious and beautiful. The location of the condo is steps from the ocean (which is private) where you can enjoy long walks, sunsets, sunbathing and spectacular sea glass treasures. Location of the condo is close to everything. We have traveled to Rincon for the past 4 years in February and have had our share of experiences/rentals. This year has been the best by far. We are already trying to figure out our dates of travel for next year so we can book early. Thank you again!!!!!

Laid back holiday destination

Chris (owner) and his wife met us upon our arrival, despite the late hour we finally rolled into Punta del Mar. They oriented us to the villa, then departed. The villa is one of the best appointed rentals we have ever had. There was everything you could want and more. Two boogie boards, a pair of snorkel equipment, four tennis rackets, beach towels, and lots of starter food in the kitchen. We were there for a week, with our adult children who enjoyed the high surf when we first arrived and then by week's end it had settled down to the point we could snorkel off the beach. The town of Rincon is a wonderful laid-back surfer community, with a range of food options from excellent Thai at the Ode to the Elephants and many beachside bar restaurants. The villa is spacious and beautifully appointed. We enjoyed all three levels. The community is gated and expansive, with pleasant neighbors and a nice safe feeling. Although it takes about 10+ minutes to drive to Rincon, you can walk directly west on the beach and make it to the Tamboo bar in 5 minutes. Our guys did just that on New Years eve. We would come back again and stay at this villa.

Comfortable, convenient, clean and classy!

This property is a wonderful find, especially if you are looking for a great, well equipped, well maintained place right at the beach, and really, who wouldn't? The owner provided the place ready for easy "move in", right down to plenty of ice in the freezer and a 6 pack of beer in the fridge!!! Amenities description is spot on, and everything appeared new and in perfect working order. From the great outdoor gas grill on the patio, to the roof top lounge chairs, to tennis rackets and snorkel gear, he had things covered. (Tennis courts are close by, on the complex property.) We would highly recommend this property. This area of Rincon and the stretch of beach the property is on is perfect for a wide variety of activities. There are some good surf breaks close by, and you are within 30-45 mins max to all of the west coast's best waves: from Crash Boats and Wilderness to the North, Domes and Tres closer by, and Sandy's and Pools just down the beach. If you haven't been to Rincon, it is rural. Traffic jams typically are from horses on the roadway. There are no casinos, fancy restaurants, large club scenes, etc - there ARE beach bars, nature and local cuisine. A wonderful place to relax, unwind, recharge and catch some amazing sunsets.

Great condo

We stayed at Plaza del Mar, in Rincon, PR. The condo was on the beach and it was everything the brochure said it was. It was clean, had most kitchen utensils, etc., and quiet. We, six, were quite pleased, being that our son was getting married there. Thank you for providing us with all of our needs. I would recommend this condo to anyone who just wants to relax and not be bothered. Most of the restaurants were nice, but there wasn't anywhere to shop for "trinkets" to take home.

There is no need for a car or golf cart to reach the beach. In November to midsummer (High tide) there is a natural seapool that forms in the secluded beach which is great for swimming/ young children with parents. The property has furniture, appliances and linens purchased in 2013. The interior design is sleek and sophisticated, welcoming and comfortable.

Views and sunsets are spectacular here. It is a place where you really have a chance to disconnect and relax, but also have easy access to restaurants, beaches and entertainment. No noise , except the ocean ! Entrance to the villa is at the ground level with two parking right in front. Rincon is for people who want an authentic and memorable experience in Puerto Rico.
