Great house with a great location

We had an easy check in with great instructions and directions. Arrived with no trouble and settled right in, the kitchen is well appointed and loaded with extras. We had a small issue with the upstairs bathroom but it was immediately addressed and fixed first thing the following morning. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee and wwtching the birds catch fish was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful vacation stay!

The house and location was perfect for our family. Between crabbing, fishing, cooking the flounder we caught, it was perfect. The pool was a good bonus, we were not to impressed with the community sound side beach. It's not maintained/ cleaned up it is is natural elements with leaves and debris in the sand and water. Public beach access pretty easy to get to. We drove 25 min to go to the one with a bath house. House is tocked with everything you need. I don't like that you have to go to the rental office to pick up keys. If you're already down there, it's a potential back track. However, the agency was very helpful and called us to say we could get in earlier than anticipated. They gave us a nice "starter" bag, and said to call if we needed anything. When checking out leave by 915 to get to the rental office by 10. Traffic is awful.

Rental was clean enough but dust bunnies under furniture. We brought our own linen as purchasing their linen package means linens are delivered in a bin to the door... you still have to make the beds!

I loved the are and location was great, but the cleanliness of house wasn't

We did enjoy the location, staying on the water was wonderful. Tge back deck is fantastic! But I wish the house was better cleaned, there was so much dust on lamps and in corners, m&ms and chips under couch (not from us). Dirty bathroom sinks and floors were very disappointing. The mattress in master was super hard causing alot of back pain during week. We were very sad with these issues. I wouldn't stay here again. It could have been a great house but living room furniture is dated and uncomfortable, mattresses need to be replaced. Its is disappointing to spend a good amount of money for motel quality furniture and interior. Management company is very good when we called with questions about how to lock the trickey doors.

House was great but a few issues

We loved the house, especially the porch and dock. Did not realize linens were not included due to my own overlooking but at this price linens should be included. House was not clean when we got there but called emergency number after hours and they sent cleaning crew right away. They said they do not wash the comforters (gross), but they cleaned pretty decent. Lots of dust caked everywhere, needs deep cleaning. Also the doorknob came off on the back porch. We called on Monday to get it fixed but wasn't fixed before we left (Saturday). Also be aware pool is a driving distance of about 5 mins.

This home was about 15 minutes travel time to the beaches but for us this worked well. We wanted a quiet suburban feel away from the commercial areas after the beach.Our only complaint was that there were no bayside floats for my family to use, no firepit for night time talks and no beach chairs or amenities for us to borrow. Coming from NY, we had to pack everything we owned into a van with 6 pp. It was tight.

Wonderful

We had a really great time. We loved being able to sit at the water and fish off the dock. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. It was in the middle of everything we wanted to do. One of our favorite things was going to see the lighthouses. Would definitely recommend.

Nice Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sound front views were wonderful. Location is outside the busy tourist area and very quiet. Pool was very nice as well as the bay beach. The dock behind the house was nice for fishing and crabbing. It would have been nice to use it more for swimming however the ladder is way too short. Teenagers struggled to get in and out.
