Let me start with what to expect when you arrive at Bella Casa. We have 2 dedicated off street parking spaces, which make entry with all of your bags very easy to accomplish no matter the weather...just steps from the front patio door. Both our front and back patios are complete with seating, greenery and beautiful shade trees as well as being surrounded by tall adobe walls, so they are completely private. After accessing keys you will enter through the gate, onto the front patio. This is a great spot for a favorite beverage and relaxing. It is viewed from the living room and lends fabulous light and ambiance to the condo. The back patio has a grill, easy access to dry firewood, a patio table as well as additional seating and a Chiminea. It can be viewed from the kitchen and dining area. If you are ever lucky enough to be at Bella Casa in May, you will see the magnificent Lilac bush in bloom by the kitchen window. Arch Bishop Lamy gifted this plant to his close friend, my husband's Grandfather, who was the Editor of the New Mexican for many years. It was transplanted from their home in Santa Fe and remains in our garden.

The two bedrooms are completely separate. Upstairs is a King bed, with great light and private tub/shower full bath. Plenty of storage, as well a spacious closet. Brick floors throughout, vaulted ceilings with vigas, and a great view of the back patio and beyond. In the winter months when the leaves have fallen, you can see the top of the Capitol building (also known as the Round House) from the window, and the mountains surrounding Santa Fe. Downstairs is an identical sized bedroom with a King Bed/Bath. The window overlooks the back patio. Vigas, brick floors, and a large closet complete this room. Flat screen TV's are in both bedrooms as well as the Living Area.
