This spacious, elegant townhome is the perfect location for your next Padre Island getaway. This luxury property at The Cottage House offers first class living on the Texas Gulf Coast. The townhome is fully furnished and has 3 floors of custom decorated rooms with modern beach cottage decor. An open concept living / dining / kitchen space on the third floor, with an exceptionally beautiful pool that offers relaxing views of Lake Padre, marshland, and the beach in the distance. All of which allows you and your family and friends to enjoy all the conveniences of home in the relaxed surroundings of beach living. Its great location provides quick access to swimming, fishing, surfing and a variety of delicious dining options. It is positioned very close to the beach with access to one of two community boat slips, as well as a two car garage for convenient and shaded parking. This property is an awesome fit for families or a group of friends that enjoy vacationing together. This 4 bedroom and 3.5 bath unit can sleep up to 10 people in comfort!

The Cottage House pool is currently unavailable for guest use beginning January 16th, until further notice. Pricing reflects this, and no extra discounts apply. We apologize for the inconvenience.

CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.

The location and the layout of the condo was great. We enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the beach. The multiple level home provides enough rooms for two or three families to spread out and have their own space. The bunk room was a plus for the kiddos! We did have trouble with appliances though which was unfortunate since we planned on cooking all of meals at the condo. The oven didn't light, the freezer didn't freeze, and the fridge wasn't cooling to them appropriate temperature. There are VERY basic starter supplies provided, so be sure to bring extra paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, and SEASONINGS.

Our family had a great stay! Parking is very limited and more small suv/car friendly but you can easily park across the street. Beautiful house and very close distant to the beach.

Property was clean and location was great. Really disappointed in there not being an easier in and out option with 3 kids. You get to park in the garage but there is no remote and they won’t give you the code to the keypad. So you have to walk around the building, unlock the front door and have someone open the garage door. There is no other parking besides inside the garage.

Nice location

The property was nice and in a good location for us. We could walk to the beach and it was good for the guys to meet their fishing guide. It was nice to have a 2 car garage. My only complaint is that only one burner would light on the gas stove. It needs some work.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice location with easy access to the beach. Canal behind homes was nice for easy fishing/crabbing access. I don't remember seeing anything warning us to bring our own propane bottle if we intended to cook outdoors on the grills. There are signs down there stating you have to bring your own propane. That's a bit of a hassle but i understand. Home is very typical for corporate owned properties. Repair standards were a bare minimum to maximize profits. Our stay was very affordable so I'm not mad, but the dryer did not work so we couldn't finish laundry, only one burner on the stove will stay on, the balcony door knob fell off during our stay, and the hallway carpets up stairs definitely need to be cleaned.

Plenty of Space!

Lots of room to spread out for our large group! Layout was perfect fit for us. Kitchen/living room area had plenty of room for us all to be together. Not too bad of a walk to the beach. Wagon was nice. Garage, small, but nice to have a place to unload. The check-in and out process was easy. wishes/suggestions/hiccups: 1. said 3 showers which was a huge plus with a group with 8 teenage girls....BUT the bottom floor shower never worked. called maintenance and he text me to do something and when we got back to the house I sent him a picture because it is obvious that a piece to make the shower work was missing. then he finally came out. said it would be few days before part came in. so we never got to use the 3rd shower. that was bummer since it was such a perk. 2. water hose to rinse off sand would've been nice...would help the house too. 3. at least 1 full length mirror somewhere...anywhere in the house is needed. again, I had a house of 18 year old girls and no mirror. 4. nothing can do about it but needs a note. water pressure is not good. with only 2 showers working, 8 girls with longhair and bad pressure...let's just say the shower process took a longtime...wet, wash, rinse and repeat....it was beating. I would've given all 5* but the shower was only issue really to make me select 4*.

Save your money

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed in Padre Escapes homes and have generally had a great experience; however it seemed that no one had checked on this property in quite some time. From the faucet in the sink, to all of the showers not working, the dirty carpet upstairs, the closet door falling off the railing, etc this his house left much to be desired. When discussed with property management I kept hearing the same thing “I’m so sorry; this house is not up to our standards”. So why it is up for rental is beyond me.

Father day weekend

Condo was clean and fit my family needs. The master bedroom bathroom shower had no water pressure. The stove vent was leaking water from above. Our vehicles didn’t fit in the two car garage. The parking was far. It was a hassle to unload. The pool area and boat dock was under construction. We were told the boat dock was not to be walked on because it was voltage live. We couldn’t fish off docks because of this .

Nice Place!!

Overall experience was great! Initially had trouble accessing the property; however, the property management company was quick to respond and got us in right away. There was an issue with the hot water, and the property mgt company got someone to check it out but was unable to resolve the issue. Even though we didn’t have hot water, the place was nice and everyone had great time.

Charmante maison au bord de la mer

La maison est propre, agréable, bien localisée, bien meublée. La piscine est aussi bienvenue. La personne qui s’occupe de la location est joignable facilement et très à l’écoute. Petit point négatif : il manque de la vaisselle et des couverts si (comme nous) vous y allez à plus de 5 personnes, et le sèche linge était en panne lors de notre séjour, ce qui ne nous a pas beaucoup dérangé.

Not happy when we walk in

When we get into the house, the decorations is pretty but the kitchen is not a full silverware. A lot of thing was missing and it make us disappointed.

Getaway weekend

The house is beautifully decorated, clean and modern. The pool area is very well kept. Great location for our fisherman. The only complaint would be that there weren't enough drinking glasses, we just made due with coffee cups, so not a huge deal. The keycode sent wasn't correct, but a quick call to the property manager and that was resolved immediately. It was an enjoyable place to stay.

Padre Island 3 night stay

We had great time at Padre Island and this property was a right choice! Close to everything this property had everything we needed. Enough rooms and common space for large group. Pool area is a perfect addition to the beach that is 1 min drive Would recommend it for sure

Better Than Expected, This Place is a MUST..

Never have stayed in a home where the property felt like my own home, This location was the ultimate rental home, even though it has lots of stairs we loved every inch of this property from the decorations to the appliances in the kitchens, the bedrooms where amazing beds super comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you can need to prepare a good meal, loved the island where people can gather around it and eat and talk the restrooms where spacious and super clean, it had a very modern but still homie feel to it.. the two car garage was enormous it fit both of our cars and one of them was a truck, the pool was nice and just a quick walk from our house. its not too far away from the beach just a 3 min drive to the Whitecap Beach. Not to mention that the Management team was amazing and they made us feel welcome and always quick at responding to any of our messages, all in all we where blown away by this rental home and we are planning on going again and definitely staying here again.

Great space for family holiday!

Plenty of room for a comfortable stay with family. Very relaxing atmosphere and an easy walk to the beach. Love that they left a wagon to tote the toys etc back and forth :).
