Nice condo - could use more pots/pans kitchen towels/pot holders but probably hard to keep that stuff in good shape with renters. Comfy beds and furniture.

Christmas Trip

Upon arrival the toilet and sink in the master bathroom were clogged. Used the provided plunger to unclog the toilet which unclogged the sink also. Other than that the accommodations were very good.

Fantastic Resort

Vista Cay is fantastic. The location and surrounding amenities are great. The grocery store is just around the corner on the newer end of the property. There is a Walgreens and Chick-fil-a across the street, we found all of these things helpful during our stay. Our Condo was amazing, it just wasn’t the condo we originally booked. At check in we were given a 2 bedroom when we booked a three bedroom. When we walked in and realized and went back to the check in desk they had no more 3 bedroom condos left in the building we booked in so we had to move to a different building: the condo itself was great, clean and very large: the kitchen appliances and cookware were underwhelming, but overall not an issue. We will definitely stay here again. Great resort, amenities were also great!

Spacious plus great location!

This property was very spacious with large bedrooms. The location is nice with plenty of restaurants, a grocery store and shopping within walking distance. We enjoyed the walking path around the pond and the kids enjoyed the pool area. Cons: the supplies/amenities inside the apartment are extremely minimal (and cheap appliances), especially in the kitchen. The outdoor balcony had 2 tiny pieces of cheap furniture to sit on, not enough for the 4 of us to enjoy the balcony together, which was a bummer. Also, during the check in process we were met with some unfriendly staff at the front desk. All in all, though, it was a good stay and we enjoyed the space.

We love Vista Cay through & through! We always stay here for all of our Orlando vacations! Absolutely the best place hands down!

Needs work

The location and resort were great but the unit needs some work. It was not cleaned very well and the floors were disgusting. They had not been mopped in a really long time. Most of the patio furniture pictured was not there so we couldn’t all sit outside and really enjoy the patio. I also wasn’t a fan of this being through the management company so you have to check in at the main office instead of just going straight to the unit. It’s not terrible but inconvenient. I wouldn’t stay at this unit again but would definitely stay at the resort in a different unit.

Christmas in Orlando

This is second year our family traveled from St Louis to Orlando for Christmas. Also second time in this unit. We enjoy this unit and enjoy the hospitality. There were a few issues.. all burners on stove didnt work and the garbage disposal did not work. We didnt feel like it was a huge deal and did not bother to call. No big deal and we would stay in this unit again because we love it! Hope to be back for Christmas 2023! Thank you!

Not in complete working order

After using the washing machine, could not get the dryer to work. Called front desk to see if there was some trick to it and they sent up a maintenance person who also was unable to get it to work even after calling supervisor. No follow-up. Random maintenance person showed up on Thanksgiving to change a filter...thought that was odd. Discovered the outlets next to the vanity in the main bathroom did not work. Provided hair dryer would not work. Thought maybe the GFCI had tripped but we checked everything including the various light switches that may have turned off the outlets, to no avail. Didn't want to wait for maintenance to come so we didn't bother reporting it. I was opening curtain in main bedroom and the rod came down on my head. Noticed the rods in all the rooms aren't very secure. Small inconvenience but the toiler paper roll is far/hard to reach from the toilet in second bathroom. Ended up taking the roll off the holder and just sitting it on the counter. Instructions for working TV were not accurate. Aside from all that, the condo is in a great location, very easy to get to/from and close walk to the pool area - which could also use some maintenance as we found sharp plastic pieces on the bottom of the pool. My husband picked them out and threw them away. I would stay again, but maybe not in the unit we had.

Plenty of space and easy parking, access to highway, Parks etc

I stayed in the Vista Cay resort for my daughter's fall break which should have been October 10 & 11th but was changed b/c of Hurricane Ian. The property is well maintained and my unit had plenty of space. I was a little confused at check-in as the photos that were in the listing were not the unit I stayed in. They are all about the same I guess but I thought mine was on the first floor and it was on the 2nd. It didn't end up being a big deal but just be aware of this. Although the unit was clean it had that "many, many people have stayed here" smell which was a little off putting. Again - It could have been the unit I was staying in specifically so I can't speak to the other units. The people who worked in the clubhouse were very nice and I loved taking my dog on walks around the lake area. That was really pretty and I am glad that my unit faced the lake. Parking, shopping, parks etc are close enough but I am glad that there was a little distance between the throngs of tourists and Vista Cay. Everything in the unit worked fine and I was grateful for the laundry facilities. The kitchen is a little dated and the drawer where the silverware was stuck and was wonky. The icemaker worked but didn't come out of the door thing for some reason so I had to get it by hand. Again - not a big deal just a comment. So overall - it was a good stay.

Great location, great size, great community!

We come to Orlando to celebrate our youngest sons 21st birthday over a three day weekend. we spent the days at the park but totally loved coming back to the condo to share quality time with our three sons and daughter in law. The walking trains around the lake where perfect for walking the dog, the pool was amazing and when we realized we were out of soda we just walked to Walgreens. Great location without having to be in all the traffic. We will for sure be back.

AMAZING CONDO

Our family of 5 was very comfortable in this condo. The on-site manager texted us the day before to help with arrangements of getting in. The condo was nice and clean and very spacious. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Needs minor updates! Great Beds!

Although the room was amazing, and had room for everyone in our party there were a few issues we came across. The furniture on the balcony needs replacing. We also couldn’t find the extra linens for the pull out bed. The light over the cook top is blown. The washing machine sounds as the bearings are coming loose. And more pillows! The beds were extremely comfortable in every room though! Great wifi! Kitchen was stocked well with utensils and dishwear! We have stayed with Vista Cay since 2008 and are well aware that each unit is independently owned and the owners can be unaware of issues unless someone tells them. We would definitely book this room again just hope for this minor issues to be corrected!

Large condo, great location

We enjoyed our short 3-night stay at this condo in a great location with easy access to highways. We had friends traveling with 2 small dogs and this 2nd floor condo right near the stairwell made it so convenient for them. Rooms were big, everything was clean!

Very nice property with all the bells whistles

This is a great property for groups, families visiting the Orlando area for extended stays with either Biz conferences off of international Drive or vacations for visiting universal and Disney. Right down road from Universal. We took a ride share to and from Disney and it only took 25 mins. $30 for an XL.. Pool is great! DJ at the pool was fun! Convenient trash pick up outside interior doors. Easy walk to publix and 2-3 Food spots in publix shopping center. So all in all, it was great!

Nothing not to like

The facility is nice, the view is good (including a surprising lot of wildlife) and the staff helpful. The system of using the hallways as a location for garbage boxes is a bit strange - the hallways always smell a bit like garbage - but no one hangs out in the hallways, so this is a minor consideration. Overall, an excellent experience.

Nice enough place

The restrictions on AC temperatures made it uncomfortable when sleeping & getting ready to go out. Fans would be a good idea if you otherwise restrict the temperature. I'd never visit you in summer months for this very reason.

Girls Weekend

Girls Weekend was perfect! The condo was beautiful. Nice property. The only constructive criticism would be to upgrade the sleeper sofa mattress. It was very uncomfortable and we could not find linens to fit. Also could use more bowls. We had 8 girls, and a crock pot full of chili. There were only two full size bowls. We managed, and did not request anything from the office. The location was good. Easy off of 528 and close to the universal area. Definitely will consider this property again.
