The Shack: 4 minute walk to Crane Lake Beach

Perfect for couples and small families, The Shack is a 2 bedroom tiny home. Creatively using every corner of this 600 sqft space, this recently remodeled home is cute, quirky and will leave you with great memories.

Home is 600 sqft, 2 bedrooms, one with a queen and one with a twin bed. Small living room with TV, vintage boardgames, an eat in kitchen with bench seating and granite counter tops. Stackable washer and dryer. Full wet room bathroom with walk in shower. Vaulted ceilings with exposed trusses for an open airy feel with some character. Backyard has seating, a deck with 3 person hot tub, fire pit, and patio furniture.

Guests have the whole home. Owner also owns a boat dock within walking distance for guests bringing a boat, please coordinate with us ahead of time on dock usage.

Early check-in (2pm) and late check-out (12:30pm) are available for an additional $75 each. Pets are welcome with a $75 pet fee.

I would give cleanliness zero stars if I could. There were hundreds of bugs when we entered the place. We spent the first hour of our trip cleaning.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience. I would've been more than happy to come out/address this had you reached out. We do contract with regular pest control, however unfortunately being on the lake sometimes this is not enough. We do everything in our power to check homes before check in and stay on top of this.

This property was perfect for our needs. We stayed in this location to be able to access the Columbus zoo & Hocking Hills. It was close to Buckeye Lake and many restaurants. The primary suite was very roomy and comfortable, easy to log into any streaming platform for the evenings. The kitchen was cute and functional, we did not use the oven or stovetop. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was adequate. Some of the towels provided had stains but we brought our own towels anyway. The hot tub was very nice, clean, and hot. (Beach towels were also provided) It would’ve been nice for more privacy but the neighbors and neighborhood were very quiet and clean. No one bothered us the whole stay. The host was very nice and quick to accommodate any of our needs, such as, when we first arrived the central air was not working but she had a portable AC delivered and installed for us within an hour.
