Property location was excellent, it was close to everything. It did get hot at night, but that’s to be expected during the summer. Property was clean and had everything you need.

We came with our 13 and 11 year old daughters. It was a clean, aesthetically pleasing space good for our family of four and close to all the local attractions we visited (garden of the gods, 7 falls, zip-line in Manitou Springs). The hosts were very communicative and helpful with our questions.

Very beautiful and up kept property! had books and games so even with a night in we were still entertained! also loved the compliment snacks and drinks. it felt very most welcoming!

Colorado Springs Grands Trip

This garden level apartment in the basement of an Old Colorado City house was very unique and beautiful! Very well done, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay with our two grandsons on our trip to Colorado Springs to visit the Cheyene Mountain Zoo, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs. It was a close drive to these places. We’d definitely stay again!!

It is a nice basement suite with plenty of room for the whole family. Might be tricky for those with mobility issues, low ceilings have to crawl in master bed but we did just fine. In a very nice part of town. Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs are less than 10 mins away. Everything was very clean and well adorned. Very nice kitchen that allowed us to eat in and save a few bucks with a family of 5. The host was readily available via text and even spoke with her as we left one evening. Highly recommend staying here!

Maybe not for older folks

Beautiful basement apartment, every thing you need , lovely decor air conditioer too cold, unable to regulate, must be able to crawl or climb into bed, convenient location, maybe not for older people.

My brother and I stayed for a few days while visiting Colorado and friends in the area. The place was decorated so cute. I loved the wallpaper, pillows, and overall decor. It felt thoughtfully put together and very welcoming. Parking was easy, which we really appreciated, and I loved having a TV in my room.There were a couple things that were challenging for us. We were woken up very early in the morning by a child running around upstairs. I completely understand that kids have energy and that’s normal, but if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, just be aware that you can hear movement from above pretty clearly.The second concern was that one evening we left for dinner and locked the door. When we returned, the door was unlocked and a lamp was on that we hadn’t used during our stay. I don’t mind if the host needs to enter the space when necessary, but a heads-up would have been appreciated. I arrived back alone that night, and seeing the door already unlocked made me feel uneasy.Other than those issues, we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the effort put into making the space comfortable and stylish.
