This worked great for what we needed. The Long Island rail is only a 5 minute walk which made it easy to get to Farmingdale.

I let the host know I was coming with a service animal to which he was immediately apprehensive, attempted to ask for a deposit, but then obliged after I shared the service animal policy. I asked to check in early and I was told that wouldn’t be a problem because the place had already been cleaned and no one had stayed there recently. When I arrived, the place was in disarray, food on the counter and in the refrigerator, used towels on the floor, beds disheveled and slept in. I contacted the manager of the place who is a different man than the host who was incredibly apologetic and handled the situation while I was at work. The host himself was actually quite dismissive. The description does not mention this place is on a main road and you will hear cars, music and people throughout the night. Nor does it mention the flood light directly outside your bedroom window which the frost glass does nothing to abate. Or the smell of mold that permeates the entire apartment. It also doesn’t include the fact that the entrance sits in a parking lot behind a street of storefronts with two industrial doors to open. I stayed from Thursday to Sunday and on Friday a group of 5 or 6 men got belligerently drunk in said parking lot and stayed for hours directly under the bedroom and kitchen windows. Overall, the entire experience wasn’t worth it and this ranks as one of the worst accommodations I’ve been in.

Inside was as described in pics. Check in was easy. Kitchen facilities all good. Outside of building was unappealing as well as back entrance and hallway leading up to apt. The night can be a bit noisy from street but ac helped mute it.

Perfect for what we needed

I attended a wedding with my friend and her 2 year old son. The location was perfect for what we needed. The apartment was clean and as described. We had no issues with David’s instructions,

Misrepresented Property Description

The apartment is described as renovated. The kitchen is renovated, but the rest of the apartment is not. The floors and bathroom are old and decrepit. The whole apartment smelled so terrible that I could not stay there even 1 night even though I paid for 7 nights. The entrance stairs are broken. I wish I could post pictures. No air conditioning in the living room and kitchen, just a fan. There was raw chicken and other food in the refrigerator. I asked for a refund but was refused.
