The first impression is that the unit is in serious need of an update! There was not 1 piece of furniture that was comfortable or very clean. (we covered the couch with towels because it had an odor) The bedding looked like it had just been pulled out of the hamper, unwashed and there were stains on the sheets. (photos attached) The kitchen was sparsely stocked with mismatched items that seemed like garage sale leftovers. The shower door was off the track, so I had to fix that. The screen doors out to the balcony don't move (not a difficult fix with the necessary parts, but I wasn't about to be working on my vacation) all in all we had a good time at St. Pete Beach, the worst part was coming back to this place every night. Had we seen it in person before booking, we would have DEFINETLY went elsewhere, and no, we won't be back.

If you can't do proper laundry, then buy a new set of sheets! EWW!

Nice location with easy check in!

Great location and view. You can see the Gulf from the kitchen, patio and bedroom windows. Although the condo is a little dated, it is stocked with everything you need. Very accommodating. King mattress needs to be replaced, but everything else was very nice. Very clean and tidy. Also furnished well. The pool and hot tub were great and all codes and instructions were perfect and easily accessible. The location offers tons of places to go and things to do. Great restaurant recommendations too.....absolutely loved Salt Rock Grille. Thank you for the great getaway.

Beautiful view, easy walk to several restaurants, super clean. It’s a bit dated but it was perfect for 2 people. We liked the quick walk to the beach, the elevator, and the fact that it’s next to the public beach so we could rent cabanas and lounge chairs.

Condo Review

Check in was easy and communication good. There were long hairs in the bathroom and bed room and the couch was uncomfortable and very dated. The table on the balcony wobbles and had to put a sandal underneath a leg to be able to set drinks on it and not worry about spilling them.

Great stay at the Gulf Strand

We had a wonderful visit to St Pete Beach. The beachfront Gulf Strand location was amazing. It took us 2 minutes to get from our condo to the beach! The condo was quite comfortable and clean, it really was almost exactly like the pictures. We had a lovely partial view of the beach (and gorgeous sunsets) though the balcony furniture was pretty outdated and the feet of the table were rusted away, rendering it useless. Though we didn’t get to enjoy the balcony, it was helpful for air drying wet swimsuits and towels.There were a couple aspects that could use some freshening up and attention. The king size bed has an older mattress. The couch wasn’t particularly comfortable and the table lamp almost fell apart when we went to adjust it! The washer/dryer wasn’t working during our stay, but we were able to use one across the hall at no charge. The kitchen was stocked with cookery, dinnerware, glassware etc. but a few more basic cooking essentials (oil, spices, coffee) would make a big difference.While we noticed these things, they certainly didn’t detract from our comfort and visit. A few finishing touches would make this place perfect! We loved the extra beach toys in the closet and used the cooler that was provided too.

Great location and value for money

We had a great time and the location is ideal for a beach holiday. The condo had everything we needed and felt very much like a home. We extended our stay by one day as we had such a good time. We would stay here again if visiting St Pete’s in future.

Great Location / Condo needs updating

Location is great - able to walk to many restaurants, grocery store, beach and pool. Condo is very dated - cabinets / vanities are coming apart and do not close properly; kitchen supplies are not consistent - lids do not fit pots; limited cookware; coffee mugs chipped; useable knives was challenging. Master bathroom shower was not very clean (black soap scum on door track); balcony table was off balance (appears 1 leg may have rusted). Washer and dryer were very old - noisy, off balance, dryer lint basket did not fit properly. Supplies in closer (Chairs, umbrella, etc) were old and in need of replacing. Glad we brought our own!

Beach stay

Wonderful condo! The deck is always shaded - if you like that! Close to everything. It will be nice when all renovations are done outside!!

Terrific Location

The location is near everything along St. Pete Beach. My wife and I easily walked the length of the beach during our stay. The condo was clean and tidy. Had an issue with the washing machine which was attended to almost immediately.

St Pete Trip

We had planned to go to St Pete’s Beach before heading to Naples. We were very unsure what to expect due to the two hurricanes that hit the area. This was the only property that provided an update about the area. We decided at that last minute to book and were pleasantly surprised as we were able to enjoy the beach and golf. Great view and the unit had everything we needed. Will definitely stay there again

Beach retreat

The property is decorated very beachy an it was clean . Because of the hurricanes the pool was out of commission. Our parking space was between a pile of debris and a dumpster. Was given a different space by property management but a day later there was a notice on windshield that we could not park there. Other than that it was fine,

Great location and stay

Nice to have two full bathrooms. Great location. Appreciated the chairs for the beach. Were able to check in a little early which was very helpful.
