Experience serenity and luxury in a newly constructed lowcountry cottage suite. Prime location; 3 miles from the ocean front, Folly Beach, Charleston and only 8 miles to Historic Downtown Charleston. Relax in a brand new suite which features a classic cast iron clawfoot tub, a double head shower, a king size bed, 12 foot ceilings, a kitchenette, TV, it's own private entrance and driveway. The home is located near the Fort Lamar Heritage Preserve. Experience the Lowcountry now!

The suite is connected to the backside of the home with its own driveway and entrance. You'll stay in a private, large bedroom with high ceilings, a beautiful ceiling fan with a mini split heating and air-conditioning unit so you can set the thermostat to your liking. There is a sliding barn door separating the bathroom with duel sinks a walk in shower, a toilet room and a walk in shower. The kitchenette has a microwave, sink, mini fridge, coffee maker with complementary coffee.

No Parking on the Grass. The home is on a septic system and this could cause the system to fail. Thank you
Only flush toilet paper down the toilet. No "flushable wipes" or baby wipes. Wipes or any food down the drain can cause the septic system to fail.
The AC has a limit setting of 70 degrees, dropping actual temp to 67 degrees. This is to control humidity and moisture damage in the warmer months.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this property. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Some small details that I liked specifically were the silent AC unit, kitchen linens of natural fiber, lots of natural light in the bedroom/sitting room, and gentle fragrance of the bath towels. The owner kept in touch during check-in for questions or needs. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Lots of shopping and restaurants in close proximity. I would stay here again.

OMG! This cottage is just perfect and April has thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable (she even has a set of birthday candles on hand - wow)! The bed is super comfortable, the main room is airy and large. Its decorated beautifully, with soft colors that give a beachy vibe. Loved the bathroom. Having 2 seperate vanities meant we could get ready faster to hit the beach or downtown. My daughter loved the clawfoot tub - so luxurious! The walk-in shower was equally decadent with a rain-shower head as well as a mounted ajustable head (with hand-held option). Communicating with April before and during our trip was a breeze. Shes obviously a very conscientious and kind VRBO owner. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Hopefully, one day, we can be guests again!

Great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was great! The hosts were very nice, the place itself was beautiful and very comfortable, and its location was great! We were about 7 minutes from Folly Beach and about 15 minutes from downtown Charleston. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Fabulous

The accommodations were very nice, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to reach Folly Beach and Charleston. Landscaping at entrance of accommodations could be improved.

Dream Weekend

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and it was the perfect place for two people. It was very clean and welcoming as well as in a good area. It is attached to the home but is separated by a door in which you lock to make you feel more secure. We would recommend this place for anyone!

A perfect little place

The house was absolutley beautiful. We werent farther than 7 minutes from anything and we woke up to fantastic weather ever day. The dual shower heads were very welcome after a few hours at the beach and the dehumidifier was a life saver.

I brought my 17 year old daughter to Charleston to check out a couple of colleges combined with a fun girls trip. This spot was perfect! About 15 minutes from Charleston on James Island, it gave us the opportunity to check out the beach life of Charleston. Super clean, new, and perfect size for the two of us. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Cottage

We were so very happy with our stay at Lowcountry Cottage. This cottage was immaculate and super clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was beautiful. There is nothing negative to say. Very quiet and easy to find. Perfect location and close to our family reunion. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I are originally from Norfolk, VA. I'm a botanist and herbalist while my husband is a cultural projects manager for the City of Charleston and a musician. We operate 2 short terms rentals, one in Waynesville, NC and one in Charleston SC.

The location and the scenery surrounding the suite are both stellar! Its located 3 miles from Folly Beach and only 7 miles away from historic downtown Charleston. The home is a stone's through away from the marsh and beautiful wetlands of the lowcountry.

You get a private driveway, private entrance. Its connected to our home but we hardly cross paths and you have complete privacy.
