2015年に新しく建設されたモダンなバケーションコテージであるスカイロフトは、バージン諸島国立公園から1.6 km（1マイル）のコーラルベイの600フィート上の熱帯の丘の中腹にあります。 コーラルベイのショップやレストランから半マイルです。 家は2つの建物、キッチンと寝室/バスルームで構成されています。 広々としたタイルデッキ、バックデッキの日陰エリア、外部グリルキッチン、直径12フィートの淡水プールがあります。 2つの熱帯屋外シャワーがあります。 スカイロフトデッキと壮観な景色へのアクセスは、セメントパーキングエリアから3段の階段を経由して行われます。

スキニーレッグス、インディゴグリル、ピクルス、オアシス、アクアビストロなど、多くのコーラルベイレストランは1.6 km（1マイル）未満です。

北西に車で10分行くと、マホ、シナモン、トランクベイのビーチがあります。 東へ車で10分行くと、ソルトポンドビーチがあります。 また、この半径内には、ハイキングコース、プランテーション遺跡、ウォータースポーツレンタル、レストラン、バー、ショップがあります。

Skyloftの屋内キッチンには、シンク、2バーナーコンロ、小型電子レンジ、ミキサー、トースター、ユニークでフル容量のカウンター下の冷蔵庫/冷凍庫、キャビネット、2台分の食卓カウンタースペースがあります。 調理用の鍋や鍋、必要な道具や皿の小さなしかし完全な在庫があります。

Spectacular views in a natural setting!

One week of beautiful views and a different beach each day. This rental is set up to enjoy the outdoors while enjoying the view of Coral Bay and the BVI beyond! Easy to check in, friendly, responsive owners, set up for cooking if that is your thing.

Beautiful Stay in St John

My wife and I spent a week here and had an amazing time. The Skyloft was a perfect blend of quiet and remote yet clean, comfortable and luxurious. The location is conveniently close to many restaurants and beaches on the island and provided easy access for excursions. The views from the deck and bedroom were even better in person than in the photos. The hosts were also very helpful and provided plenty of detail in addition to maintaining welcoming accommodations.

Private getaway

Enjoyed our stay here. The owners directions sent prior to our arrival were very helpful in finding the house. The drive up is hair raising at first, but it gets better with time. The house was exactly as pictured and described. We had a wonderful stay here!

Wonderful stay

Spent a week at Skyloft and it was simply stunning. Amazing views with a great location. St. John is such a wonderful place and Skyloft helps you take advantage of what the island has to offer. Don’t worry about the driveway-you get used to it!

Mountaintop oasis in the islands

Private villa high above Coral Bay with magnificent views of the east end of Saint John. Immaculately clean living space surrounded by lush vegetation and ample opportunity for outdoor living with shaded dining area and large tiled deck for enjoying the view as well as the pool. The outdoor showers were great for taking in the scenery and getting close to nature. 4wd required to get up the road but that just adds to the charm.

Perfect in every way!

This was our third trip to St John, so we obviously love the island. And if you could create the absolutely perfect place for a couple to stay, Skyloft is that place. Killer view, fifteen minutes from all our favorite east side beaches and snorkeling spots and very comfortable. Skyloft is well-appointed and maximizes outdoor living space in a place where that’s exactly what we want to do! It’s just a gorgeous place. Reviews suffer from grade inflation. If it were allowed, this place is 6 stars!

Another wonderful stay at Sky Loft

My husband and I had another wonderful stay at Sky Loft! We stayed here last year also. My husband loves the pool deck & I love the covered sitting area. It was my favorite place to be in the morning watching & listening to the birds, lizards, and hermit crabs. The views from any area of Sky Loft can not be beat! I will admit that we were slightly put off that the owners were living on the property this time, but we quickly got over it. The driveway was indeed worse than last year, which the owner warned us about due to the recent rain.

Private and beautiful

Clean and well designed. Perfect for a couple looking to be close driving distance to diving, snorkeling, trails, grocery market, and restaurants but secluded and peaceful. Great views of Coral Bay, and awesome outdoor areas to sit and relax after taking a dip in the pool. Nice outdoor cooking area and well stocked kitchen. You will love your stay here!

Absolute paradise

First timers to St.John and couldn’t have asked for a better experience . I had many questions and all were all answered and so very helpful hiding me through everything including our rental vehicle . My husband and I stayed a week for our honeymoon and it was everything we could have asked for. We’re already planning our next trip to St.John .

Skyloft was a Dream

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Skyloft on St. John. Waking up to the panoramic views of Coral Bay and surrounding islands every morning was astounding. Everything we needed was on the property and it was all easy to find. Jim was also very punctual with communication which made our stay go even more smoothly. We cannot recommend renting this property enough. We wish we could’ve stayed for an entire month!

Anniversary week

This is a great property for an active couple that desires privacy and loves nature. This villa has a treehouse feel, but is luxuriously appointed with no detail left out. The road in and the steps to the place are a challenge, but not atypical for villas in Coral Bay. The view makes it all worth it!

Beautiful Views

Skyloft has some incredible views of Coral Bay and Tortola. I loved they layout that provides plenty of outdoor space and different options to chose from. The pool was wonderful to relax in after a day of a snorkeling and hiking. The checkin process was effortless and the place is stocked with numerous accessories. Getting to it is a bit of a challenge and 4 wheel drive is a must. Particular something like a Jeep with high clearance.

Perfect outdoor living experience and awesome view!

If you want an outdoor living experience along with security, this villa is perfect for two people. It’s very private—it’s very sheltered from nearby villas except for the neighbors cooking scents every night. Whoever lives next door must be an amazing cook! It has every amenity you would need to either stay at the Villa or go to the beach. The outdoor spaces are great if you want sun or shade anytime of the day. The view was amazing and the location was very close to the main area of Coral Bay. We loved every minute of our stay! Pro tips: read the Villa introduction manual the minute you get there—it has very important information in it, put your 4x4 in 4 wheel low when you start the hill—it will save on your rental’s transmission, and keep it there until you get back down the hill, move the chair cushions into the covered dining/sitting area when not in use, and finally, there are long steep stairs from the parking to the Villa (as seen in the photos)—we are in our 50’s and 60’s and we didn’t have an issue, but we’re in fairly decent shape so they weren’t an issue for us, but keep in mind you have to pull your luggage up ;-) We had such an amazing week here that we hope to rent this Villa again!

Heaven on Earth!

Morning coffee overlooking Coral Bay....Priceless! Dinner doing the same! Skyloft is a private retreat, which provided a restorative way to spend our ten day vacation. We had visited St John several times and this was by far our favorite home away from home! We certainly hope it won't be our last... We miss it already!!!

Breathtaking

This was our first trip to SJ. We attempted a trip in 2018 but were unable to come following the hurricanes. After being there for 1 day we decided we absolutely would come back and cannot wait to bring our 4 children. Jim and Cathy were absolutely helpful and went above and beyond beginning with our first attempt to come to the Island in 2018. This time around we had some minor vehicle rental issues and airline delays and throughout the process Jim and Cathy kept in contact, assisted in easing the travel burdens - going above and beyond in our opinion. The first impression walking out into Skyloft took our breath away. We were completely in awe. The home is immaculate, the openness of the home and attention to detail is just amazing. Every day looking out into Coral Bay felt like we were seeing it again for the first time. It was a short drive to Coral Bay where we enjoyed food/drinks/shopping and we loved venturing out everyday to explore beaches and hiking. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Jim and Cathy! Fantastic!!

Skyloft is the most epic place I have every had the privilege of staying. We had an amazing time! It is a short drive (10-20 mins) from some of the most amazing beaches on the planet. The restaurants in coral bay are lively and serve some excellent food. It is a truly beautiful place to wake up and start your day. We enjoyed the privacy and serenity of it all. The drive up to the house just added to the fun of the adventure. I have nothing negative to say about Skyloft, it was an all around awesome experience. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Spectacular

It’s true what the other reviewers have said, the drive up to the house is harrowing! We figured it was a lot of fuss about nothing (having driven on many islands and some crazy roads in Tortola) but no, everyone was right. Our flight was delayed in Atlanta and we didn’t reach coral bay until around 8PM so we managed to get up the hill in the pitch black, and over time it DID get easier! The house itself is absolutely lovely, every inch is so perfectly thought out. I had been concerned about lack of shade on the deck, please don’t let that be a worry of yours- there is always a large shady spot with that incredible view! The pool was fabulous, the outdoor kitchen is SO well planned, we cooked often. The pictures of this property can’t really show the incredibly EXPANSIVE VIEW. I assumed there would be some kind of eye sore...somewhere?! No, it is absolute perfection, and you understand why the drive up is so worthwhile. We spent the last 10 days talking about how much we love this place and we can’t believe how lucky we are to have found it and booked it- do yourself a favor and book it for yourself to find out! Trust us, it’s magical!

We escaped from New York City in the 1970's and moved to New Hampshire. We are both retired now and are dedicated to escaping the Winter. We are particular fans of Coral Bay, and therefore built our Cottage there. Coral Bay's atmosphere is atmosphere is funky and friendly. Johnny Lime (BBQ) 0.5 miles from our deck has quite a following as does "Lime Out" a Taco Barge featuring tacos, beverages, and floating couches. It is anchored slightly to the East in Coral Bay

We have vacationed on the island of St. John for over 25 consecutive years. We started as campers at the Cinnamon Bay Campground, graduated to a decade of bareboat chartering in the USVI and BVI, and then began renting vacation homes in Coral Bay. At first, we visited once a year, then twice a year, then on occasion, three times a year. It was pretty clear that we liked St. John and Coral Bay. We purchased the property in 2002, finalized building plans in 2013 and began construction in 2014. The project was completed in January of 2015. Skyloft is built to current construction codes, has an occupancy permit and has passed electrical and fire inspections.

Skyloft, named for its small footprint and spectacular VIP view of all the 'action' Our Coral Bay Cottage is our vision of simple, upscale, relaxing, outdoor tropical living.
We were visited by hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. Skyloft was damaged, but the damage was repairable. Except for the entry stairs, which were destroyed, no critical infrastructure was damaged. The roof and deck remained intact. We flew down to St. John in November 2017, and stayed, affecting repairs through the beginning of May 2018. The stairway has been fully rebuilt and is ready now. The entire villa has been restored, cleaned and repainted inside and out. We returned in November 2018 to supervise the remaining recovery work and complete our "task list". We have delayed opening our home for guest rental until January 2019 because we want to be sure every detail is attended to.

We are again, as of July, 2018, accepting reservations. Our rental season begins in January and ends August 1 (to avoid the peak of hurricane season). We are happy to share Skyloft with you. Welcome!
