Great time!

My family & I had a wonderful time. The location was wonderful & was in easy reach of some great little restaurants. Mr Wong was very helpful in easing us through the process of booking for a very last minute vacation. The condo was very clean & inviting. I would definitely recommend this place for an enjoyable family vacation.

Great Outer Banks Getaway!

The condo was the perfect place for my 5 member family. Close to the beach, easy parking. Plenty of room in the condo for people be have their own space. Wonderfully furnished and everything we needed for cooking. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Great Family Vacation!!!

My family had a great time this past summer on our vacation. This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks, and the information packets and activity listings the Mr. Wong put together were phenomenal for a first time guest. Additionally, his property is spacious and beautifully maintained. It makes staying with young children on different nap schedules very easy. We also really enjoyed that there was a beautiful pool on the property and the property is ocean front. Not having to cross major roads with young kids to get to the ocean is always a huge plus! We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this property to families with children!

Nice overall

When I booked, I was under the impression that the unit was facing the ocean per the description. We did not have an ocean view which was disappointing. I would have preferred to know this ahead of time before spending a large amount on the rental.

When you make the reservation through VRBO, it is clearly present to you the Unit View Type is Pool Side Unit. I have owned multiple Units which including the Ocean Front Units, Ocean Side Units as well as the Pool Side Units. Travelers needs to send in the inquiry if they prefer the Ocean Front Unit and owner will let them know if the week that the traveler has request is available and you can decide if you still want to make the reservation for the week that you have requested. Great views

We had a great time. The propert worked great for my family with young children. We were able to go to the pool and the beach easily. We could easily get to the grocery store, drug store, restaurants, anything you need. We would absolutely go back. The property is on the top floor (which we loved) and had elevator access a few buildings down. We liked being far from the elevators since there wasn't any traffic on the end of the property we were on and it was easy to move in and out with the baggage carts the property provides. The two balconies gave us great views of the ocean and the pool/sunsets.

Great location - highly recommended!

My husband and I drove down from Canada with our son (who was 22 months old) and we had a fantastic vacation! The condo was clean and well stocked, it was the perfect set-up for the three of us. We rented a two-bedroom, ocean front view and it was amazing! We've been to North Carolina on vacation before, but wanted to rent something that had more amenities for children this time around. This was a perfect balance between relaxing, and doing our own thing and lots of fun spaces and amenities for children - I'm sure we'll be back as our family grows :) J.W. was very helpful and willing to answer our questions and provide us with any advance information we required. It's not the cheapest option to rent, but for what you get, it's well worth it. If you are looking for a place that offers amenities (other than just going down to the beach) and somewhere that's close by restaurants and stores, then this is the place for you. At the same time, it's literally right on the beach, so you really feel as though you're on vacation and away from it all.

Nice place to stay in OBX

Our stay was an enjoyable one. We had the fourth floor (top floor) and the view was beautiful. The beach was an easy 2-3 minute walk from our unit and the pool was just behind us in the parking lot. Pool was clean and easily accessible. Our unit was clean and relatively roomy for a beach condo. Mr. Wong had supplied everything we could have needed. Unit was extremely close to shops, food stores, gas, etc. The only complaint we have is that the roof of our unit was being repaired during the last 3 days of our stay and the workers began working at 7am. The inside ceiling of the unit was wet and peeling while we were there due to the roof leak. There was no sleeping in on the last 3 days of vacation, but the roofers were there quickly. I just wish they could have waited until like 9am so we could sleep. All in all, the property was as described by Mr. Wong and there were no surprises. Mr. Wong sets it all up for you just as he says he will. Rest assured, that if the OBX is where you want to go, Mr. Wong will take care of you.

Brian, I am glad that you and your family enjoyed your stay at the Outer Banks Beach Club II Resort. To the best of my knowledge, the Outer Banks Beach Club II Resort hadn't experienced a Hurricane of that magnitude in the past ten years. This most recent Hurricane tracked near the Hatteras Islands. The Outer Banks Beach Club Resort is protected by the sand dunes in front of the property, however, minimum damage still occurs during every major storm. Luckily, only a few roof shingles blew off from the roof, and they needed to repair it immediately in order to preserve the structural integrity of the entire building and the units it contains. Unfortunately, since resorts endlessly cater to a never-ending stream of new and departing guests, there's never actually any "downtime." However, I do agree that they could at least schedule repair/maintenance crews to start after 9am. I submitted a formal request to the Board of Directors to modify their maintenance schedule so that maintenance teams don't start construction until at least 9am. Their current ordinance regarding permitted construction/noise is from 8am to 10pm. I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your visit due to the Hurricane, and especially for the noise from the repair crews, but I am very pleased you and your family did manage to have an enjoyable and wonderful overall vacation. Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our July visit to OBBC. The condo was clean and sufficiently equipped. Master bath was fantastic with huge jet tub, glass doors and shower head with additional detachable sprayer. The condo was advertised as pool view, you had to go to the edge of the balcony and lean over to see the pool, however, if you looked the other way, you could see the ocean! There was a nice balcony facing the road that got sun most of the day, perfect for drying towels on the chairs (we didn't hang anything over the railing--tacky) There was also a small table with 4 chairs outside the front door that would have be nice for cards in the evening. We used the charcoal grills near the pool several times. There is a gas grill across the street. The pool got sun almost all day when we were there. It was not shaded by the building like some pools can be. Also, there were always plenty of loungers available. This was a very nice location. Easy to walk to many things--shopping and dining. The Wright Brothers Memorial is very near. We also drove to Hatteras to see the light house and up to Corolla for 4 wheeler rides. Finally, it was a pleasant surprise that we received e-mails containing MapQuest to and from home and a list of possible activities.

The Outer Banks Beach Club is a delightful complex in Kill Devil Hills. The property we stayed in was on the "club side" across the street from the beach. The fourth floor condo was tidy and clean. Beds, however, were far too soft for our comfort and some of our party chose to sleep on the couch rather than risk their back. The amenities were plentiful and there were two pools to choose from at the resort. The walk over to the beach was an easy stroll. Fortunately a new elevator had been installed in the building making getting up to the room easier. The full size kitchen and large bedrooms make the property pleasant for a family of four and very tight for six. Both bathrooms were in good repair and having a table on the deck outside was pleasant. A couple of concerns, the beds were too soft, with mattresses that are in need of replacing from wear and tear. Although the property is non-smoking, there were a number of people smoking on the decks and balconies and at times you felt as if they were in your room. The location is excellent. The KDH area is a quick drive to Roanoke, the Wright Memorial and several attractions, including the ONLY movie theater - a must when rain sets in!. Shopping was simple and we recommend bikes for all to ride up and down 12 in search of ice cream and good food.

Nice Amenities

Enjoyed our stay at OBBC, with plenty of room to spread out with two pre-teens. Beach was close and lots to do on property if you wanted to participate. Elevator was available for this third floor unit. Kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking meals. Three pools on property, to include an indoor with spa, we did have a rainy week so used indoor pool quite a bit. Other activities available. Unit was clean and maintained nicely. Would use again in the future.

Just okay, not great

Oceanside in this case meant having windows facing east, with a building in between obstructing views completely. This was only made apparent after paying for the rental. The interior was clean, the location was good, and the outdoor pool was nice. Not a fan of coin op laundry, which was quite expensive and inconvenient. It was an OK stay, probably not coming back to this one.

Jefferson, All my renters are very happy and enjoy their vacation in Outer Banks Beach Club II Resorts. Currently, all my renters had provided me the reviews are 5 stars review rating and only a few review is a 4 stars review rating. I offered you other available view units prior to your arrival, but you informed me that this was the only week that your family could go for vacation. When you signed the rental agreement, it clearly defined the view type of “Ocean Side Unit” (1st floor unit), which can “ONLY” see the Playground or Pool from the distance of the outside deck. You knew this prior to renting, and you still agreed to the terms of the rental agreement and signed it. The unit that you had agreed to rent was not an “ocean front” or “ocean view” unit which was accurate as of your booking. I did have other “ocean front” and “ocean view” type units available for you to rent (which could see the beach or ocean), but not for the specific week that you requested. I always take good care of all my renters and spent over five hours to prepare the detail OBBCII Resorts Information Packages for their vacation which consist with the following: Information Packet: • Courtesy Reminder - 6 days remains for your OBBC II Resorts Vacation scheduled on Aug 12, 2018. • Recommended Schedule of Events for your OBBC II Resorts Vacation • Avalon Fishing Pier Information • Outer Banks Beach Club II Resorts Frequently Asked Questions • YMCA Keys & OBBCII Resorts Facility • Assign OBBCII Week 32, to your name. • Driving Directions from OBBCII Resorts back to your home • Driving Directions from your home to OBBCII Resorts. I am glad that you and your family enjoyed your vacation at the Outer Banks Beach Club II Resorts, which featured an outdoors pools, indoor pool, and a short walking distance to the beach. Relaxing Vacation at OBBC

We considered renting a beach house for our vacation, which is most people's choice of accommodations at OBX, but we decided to give this timeshare condo rental a chance and are so glad we did. It had everything on our wish list...updated and clean accommodations (pictures don't do it justice), oceanfront (quick walk to the beach using the access walkways which have mats at the end to transition from walkway to sand), pools (indoor and outdoor w/ hot tub, perfect temperature and clean with plenty of chairs and tables w/ umbrellas) and close to restaurants (try Dare Devils Pizzeria w/in walking distance) and shopping (grocery stores nearby to pickup supplies to take advantage of the full kitchen)! A lot of the other guests are people that vacation there the same week every year (from families w/ young children to older couples), but all were super friendly and we made a lot of new friends. Watching a family of foxes play in the dunes between the hotel and ocean every evening was a wonderful bonus! We highly recommend this resort and will definitely return! Note: There are activities that you can sign up to do every day at the resort, but our 12 year old daughter preferred the beach and pools. Also there are elevators and ramps for those that need/prefer those.

Outer Banks Beach Club

Condo was beautiful and extremely well kept. View was gorgeous. Staff was helpful and efficient. Pool was lovely and well maintained. Highly recommend this unit.

Outer Banks Beach Club is a great beach resort.

Resort is family oriented. Staff very friendly and helpful. Unit very clean. Maintenance responded quickly when called for a bathroom drain problem. Used outdoor pools, barbecue grills, laundry room, right on the beach with an amazing view. Free parking. Centrally located to shops, restaurants, and activities. Will return next year.

Excellent Rental Condo right on the Beach in OBX

2 BR condo is wonderful and is poolside, next to the beach at OBX. lots of family activities in the clubhouse and close to all the OBX activities on mile post 8.5. A great vacation and JW was great to deal with.

Wonderful place in a wonderful setting.

We rented this 2 BR condo having never been in the Outer Banks before. JW did everything and more to prepare us for our trip from restaurant suggestions to things to do to getting checked in. The condo was very clean with beautiful views of the ocean in front of us. OB club employees were great too. For a small fee you'll have your beach chairs me umbrella set up each morning. They're also happy to quickly ship back anything you left behind! Thoroughly relaxing beautiful place to stay. I would highly recommend.
