Property in need of a few updates
There were several big issues with this property. The first is that the staircase to the basement had an open side that made it a fall hazard for the children in our group. There is an unfinished hole in the mainfloor bathroom closet that drops straight into the basement (possible a laundry chute?) which was another big safety concern for the kids. Next, one of the basement bedrooms does not have a door, which made bedtimes for the kids using the room challenging. Finally, one of the kitchen chairs has a broken rail that one of the kids scratched themselves on.
Overall, most of the problems were only issues because we were traveling with children. This really isn't a bad place to stay if you don't have kids. Based on the overall quality, the price really needs to be lower until some updates are put in place.
