Small, quaint stay, close to a nice uncrowded beach with lots of good walking and fishing. Good proximity to food. No shampoo, conditioner or body wash. We were only provided with 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 4-day stay. Not even salt/pepper. No hot water kettle. No dishwasher, so eating off dishes someone else hand washed. We were asked to do our laundry and do the dishes before we left, which seems a stretch.

We’re sorry the starter supplies felt limited. As noted in your check-in instructions, we only provide a basic starter pack (2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels) and do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash, spices, or other consumables. We ask guests to wash the dishes and launder just the towels used during their stay, not bedding, linens, or towels from the morning of departure. Thanks again for your feedback. The pool is a private pool only for the guests that book that suite 7 or 8. A bit misleading on line. The host also asks you to wash your towels but there is not a washer and drying in the unit. Lots of great lights outside for. security but it makes it hard to sleep at night. Unit is decorated nicely, everything we needed for our stay. Beach supplies , wagon, umbrellas, etc. very very nice!

It informs all potential guest that "our community pool is located just ten minutes from the house inside the Ann & Chuck Dever Regional park. For a pool on site, see our VRBO listing 2115647, 2117585 and 2116971" There's also a laundry room with brand new machines right next to your suite that's free. We provide guests with free laundry detergent and only ask that you wash (only the towels you use all week) and we specifically say not any towels used the morning of departure. So glad you found your suite is nicely decorated and had everything you needed for your stay like beach supplies , wagon, umbrellas and more! It was a pleasure hosting you, be well, and thanks for staying with us!

Our suite looked better than the photos! This property is maintained extremely well for a beachside property! The salty air can really do a lot of damage, but you won't see it at Stump Pass Place. Here you can walk to one of the prettiest beaches in Florida. Stump Pass Place has everything you could want to have fun in the sun. We kayaked, swam, biked, hiked, went shelling, and cooked all our meals in the well-stocked kitchen. We had an amazing private patio with a grill. Plus, this property is close to everything else you might want to check out. A great farmers market on Thursdays & Fridays, the only Warm Springs swimming hole in Florida is a short drive away. Horseback riding at Bit of Hope Ranch, in which Susan will take you through the real old Florida back trails. There are many free concerts throughout the week in the historic area. There are also hiking trails through many preserves. Not to mention the classic dolphin boat rides, parasailing, boat rentals, and all the other activities that you can imagine close to the water. We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful place!

The communications prior to arrival was excellent. We had unit 2 which looked as if we were the 1st to ever stay in it. Everything was spotless and unit was well equipped. The proximity to Stump Pass was a short walk for us loaded down in the beach wagon with everything else they provided. Wagons, bikes, kayaks, beachchairs, coolers and paddleboards were all there for our use. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who enjoys quite and Stump Pass.

Wonderful location

Nice place & great communication.

Super clean, cozy place with nice outdoor space for each unit in the buliding. Owners were fantastic at communicating starting well before my arrival. Met owners and they were super kind and friendly. Would rent again.

So glad you had a great time Greg. It was unfortunate you had trouble checking in and so unnecessary. You were sent the keyless entry code and instructions 3 days prior to arrival. You were sent this again directly in VRBO the day before arrival. You did not respond to that message, text, phone calls, or any emails. You had everything you needed to check in smoothly but never looked for it until you arrived at 9 pm that evening. You reached out at that time and received the information for the 4th time within minutes. It's always best when traveling to a home rental to have the check in instructions in hand before leaving home. This would certainly make the check in process seamless at any location. Thanks for staying with us and we hope to have you back again soon.

Awesome

This was a great place to stay. Not right on the beach but only a 2minute walk. Everything we wanted to do was provided with our housing package: biking, paddle board, snorkel gear, kayaking, lawn chairs, cooler & beach towels!! Awesome vacation!

After exploring Florida's Gulf coast for the perfect slice of paradise we kept coming back to the little unknown island called Manasota Key. The perfect mix of peace and quite, nature, and some fun Key West style restaurants just up the road. Anything else you need or want is just off island .

Our home sits on the southern most tip of the Island and is next to Stump Pass State Park. Come smell the fresh salt air!
