idyllic setting by North Fork of Tye River. Sit on deck or by fire pit. Free wood provided. 100 acre parcel that you can hike or hike off of Blue Ridge Parkway or Appalachian Trail, both of which are only mile and a half away. Lots of wineries, breweries, distilleries and Crabtree Falls just minutes away. Piney River biking trail nearby.You will love the remoteness and the solitude while in your cabin but the nearby amenities which you can enjoy. High speed internet in all cabins. Although we do not accept pets in this cabin we have identical cabins nearby with same views that do

Cabin was clean and host was incredibly helpful with his directions and advice. The cabin had everything you could think of including firewood for the fire pit. To top it off it sits with a group of other cabin set on the bank of the Tye River with its soothing, peaceful sound. I will visit again!!

Check in was easy. Property was beautiful. The cabin was clean and well kept. They supply the fire wood. The river is right beside you. We sat on the rocks with our feet in the water. Such a peaceful place to unplug and unwind!

Charming cabin and helpful host

My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Despite some incliment weather, our host checked in on us and made sure we had what we needed. It was an ideal getaway with gorgeous views of the forest and creek.

Cabin stay

We enjoyed our stay in the area! The cabin was very nice. I had everything we needed, The bed was very comfortable, the couch could use improvement for watching TV. The neighboring cabins allow pets, but it was no issue for us. Nice relaxing time.

Cabins

We didn’t know exactly what to expect when we got here and to say it was way beyond anything we could have imagined is an understatement!! The cabin was beautiful inside and out and the host was very responsive for any of our needs!! Coffee by a beautiful creek with a huge fire pit it was amazing!! I highly recommend this place 10/10!!!!!

Vacation

We had a really great time! We went to so many great places, tried so much good food and wine and beer! There is alot to do and there was a nice little store that was not to far to help with groceries.

Quiet and relaxing

Even with 3 other cabins with guests clustered nearby we still felt like we were secluded. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We spent hours on the deck listening to the river or relaxing by the fire pit. Remote location but with lots to do just a short drive away if you choose. The host were helpful and checkin was super easy. The perfect quiet getaway.

The cabin was modern, clean, and the perfect size for a couple’s getaway. We loved the location. It was close enough to neighboring towns and activities, yet still tucked away off the beaten path, which was just what we were looking for.One thing to note is that the listing photos didn’t make it clear that the cabins are grouped together. We stayed in the end unit, which gave us plenty of privacy, but being in the middle of the six might have felt a bit different.A couple of small suggestions: the living room couch was very uncomfortable no matter how you sat, and a screen on the sliding door would have been nice to let in fresh air without the bugs.Overall, though, it was a great stay and we really enjoyed our time there.

Lovely cottage and landscape. Pics do not do it justice. There was snow on the ground and the stream had ice on it in places. Will definitely return.

Peaceful

We had such an amazing weekend at this cabin. The king size bed was super comfortable and very much appreciated after our 6 mile hike to Spyrock and back :-) We had a wonderful evening by the fire and the firewood was provided! The sound of the stream behind us was glorious !!! The cabin was extremely neat and had everything that we needed. We would absolutely come back and we’ll tell all of our friends about our stay!

Secluded Cabin—Creekside Serenity

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful cabin in Montebello, Virginia, for our anniversary. The space was perfect for a couple, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating while also respecting our privacy. The cabin was brand new—immaculately clean, with a fresh, welcoming scent—and had all the modern amenities you’d expect in a quality rental. Our favorite feature was the covered porch, where we spent hours relaxing and listening to the soothing sounds of the creek just beyond. The secluded location on the mountainside was off the beaten path, yet with surprisingly fast, reliable WiFi, and a short drive to local attractions like Crabtree Falls and the Blueridge Parkway, making a nice home base while we hiked and took in the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The cabin is grouped with 3 others on the grounds but we never felt encroached upon by the other guests. We hardly saw or heard them at all. The layout of the cabins is well designed for privacy. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a scenic, peaceful retreat!
