After a day of outdoor adventure, soak in the private hot tub or enjoy the covered swimming pool. The 4-foot-deep pool can be heated during cooler months for an additional fee—please request pool heating at the time of booking to ensure it is ready for your arrival.

Inside, the cottage features a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and individual mini-split heating and cooling systems in each room for personalized comfort year-round. Pool is open dawn to dusk and only for guests staying at the cottage and apartment. Not available to extra friends or family of guests.
Please unlock all 4 latches on hot tub prior to opening lid. Make sure to re-latch after use as we get strong wind gusts that blow the lid off.
Pool and hot tub are not for unaccompanied children at any time. There is no lifeguard and owners are not responsible for injury.

Our family had a wonderful time. The pool was a highlight. It was pristine and a source of pure joy for my teenagers. The house was very comfortable. The goats and barn cats provided a great deal of unexpected entertainment!

Pleasant stay

Host was available and helpful. Property is clean and comfortable. Traffic noise was a lot louder than expected but overall a great stay!

Lovely Break!

We were all extremely pleased with our stay! The rental was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. The pool was very enjoyable. We didn’t use the hot tub or fire pits on this visit, but would definitely like to return and use them both! The property owner provided us with fresh eggs, communication was friendly and informative, and they made sure we knew they were readily available if any issues arose. Highly recommend!!!

We moved to Nelson County in 2006 to get away from the city, there wasn’t a stop light back then and we haven’t looked back. The area has so much to offer for outdoors enthusiast and craft beverage connoisseurs alike!

Our property offers a rare combination of privacy, space, and amenities that are hard to find in the Blue Ridge area. Guests enjoy access to a hot tub a exclusively for cottage guests and private pool shared only between our two on-site rentals—a 6-person cottage and a 2-person apartment—creating a peaceful, uncrowded experience.

Unlike large resort-style pools that are shared with hundreds of residents and visitors, our pool is exclusive to our guests only, allowing you to relax, swim, and unwind without crowds or noise.

Surrounded by nature, the property provides true privacy along with the charm of a small homestead. Friendly goats and chickens add a fun, memorable touch—especially for families and guests looking for a unique mountain experience—while still maintaining a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

This blend of private amenities, natural surroundings, and limited shared access makes our property ideal for guests seeking a more personal, relaxed, and authentic Blue Ridge getaway.
