This cozy oceanfront home is the perfect sanctuary for families looking to create unforgettable memories. Large windows offer views of West Bay as well as plenty of outdoor space. The kitchen is fully stocked for all cooking needs. Two king sized beds and a large bunk with trundle give you plenty of room to get a good nights sleep!
Located close to Acadia's Schoodic Peninsula & about an hour to Bar Harbor make this the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that Maine has to offer!

This was a wonderful place. Immaculate. Thoughtfully furnished. Even the books on the bookshelf were great. And the games and the poster about the moose and the fire ring! This was our seventh trip to Maine and the first trip for my brother and his wife. We took them to see all our favorites, Bass Harbor, Thuya Garden, Tinder Hearth Bakery, Stonington, Fort Knox, Acadia, Thunder Hole, Jordan Pond, the Wooden Boat School and more. I asked my husband what his favorite spot had been. He paused and said, "It may have been just sitting around the VRBO." It is simply perfect.

This is an amazing home! It has everything you need to unwind and enjoy Maine. It is close enough to most things and just far enough to not be overwhelmed by tourists. I would recommend it to everyone and can’t wait to return in the future!

We didn't want to leave! Home was clean, spacious, comfortable and full of natural light. The outdoor areas, deck, balcony and sunroom offered several ways to enjoy the surrounding views and nature. Beds were comfortable and Mandy was very communicative. It was a Maine paradise. We plan on coming back in the future!

We had an amazing stay at this location! The directions given to us to find the property and to enter the house were simple and easy. The beds were VERY comfortable and the extras that were there were beyond what we could ask for. My kids loved the outdoor games in the shed and the WALL of games that were available! From the fire pit making smores to the big screen TV, there was a little something for everyone! Communication with the host was VERY quick! I highly recommend staying here and if I ever come back to visit, this will be the property I rent again!

Serenity at its best

Location was wonderful and peaceful, the home was above what we expected, comfortable, clean, we enjoyed the fire pit and played games at night, enjoyed my coffee on the deck of the mornings...Would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Home on the Water

The home and location were perfect for our stay. We loved it! So peaceful! The home was very clean and comfortable. The supplies provided were exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was well stocked and we found it easy to cook in. There were plenty of games available for all ages. The grounds were well maintained and it looked like the flower gardens will be beautiful soon. We would definitely love to return someday and highly recommended it.

Just perfect!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! It was clean, warm and felt like home. Our children (age 10 and 12) loved the location, games, and rooms. Perfect location to explore Acadia, the Schoodic Peninsula and the Bold Coast. We will definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

Great house with privacy and views

My stay at this VRBO property was everything I hoped. The house was impeccably clean, and the views were simply amazing. One of the highlights was the ease of access of the house itself—it was very senior-friendly, which made it perfect for my elderly parent. She was able to stay in the bedroom downstairs on the main living area and there is a ramp leading to the front door. There are stairs to reach the beach area, but my mother was able to rely on the railing to reach the beach. I also really appreciated that both of the bathrooms had large showers - both with plenty of shelf area to place your toiletries. We were able to watch colorful sunrises each morning from one of the several porches or from inside the house in the sunroom. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and then some. We used this house as our central point for our daytrips. It takes about an hour to get to all the restaurants in Bar Harbor and we also visited some of the local harbors for restaurants that were closer to the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway!"

This VRBO is wonderful. The home is very well set up and has many thoughtful touches. The location is beautiful. I would highly recommend this spot.
