Discover the ultimate Island escape in this beautifully preserved 1936 Vintage Cottage—an island treasure just steps from the sand. Fully furnished and designed for easy coastal living, this 2-story retreat is perfect for families and groups. Just three houses from the 18th Street beach access and two blocks from shops, restaurants, entertainment district, and fishing pier. Enjoy stunning sunsets only two blocks away at the peaceful south-end Back River Beach. Parking for up to 4 cars included.

Main Level (Upstairs):
Accessible by exterior stairs, this level feels like a private tree-house-by-the-sea. It features a bright, open-concept layout with white shiplap walls, light wood floors, and breezy wrap-around porches.

Kitchen: A contemporary, fully equipped kitchen with Jenn-air stainless steel appliances, including an induction stove and oven, and a Whirlpool refrigerator.
Bedrooms: Three serene bedrooms.
Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms.

Lower Level (Downstairs):
A cozy, separate hangout zone—ideal for teens, or a second family.
Living Space: An additional living area with a kitchenette.
Bedrooms: Two more bedrooms.
Bathrooms: Two additional bathrooms.
Utility Space: A large area with laundry facilities, plenty of beach toys, and a Pack ’n Play travel crib for our youngest guests.

Fish Family Vacay

This was a perfect location. It was close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We had plenty of space for our family to spread out or gather in one place. We've been coming to Tybee for more than 20 years, and this has been our favorite house! We had absolutely everything we needed or wanted, and the hosts were great about communication. Check in and out were easy. Thanks for everything!

The house was cute and in an awesome location! Check in was easy and the hosts were very responsive. It is important to note that this is a DUPLEX and the upstairs and downstairs have two separate entrances. This is not disclosed in the property listing (at the time I booked). The property manager pointed out that there was no picture of an interior stairwell, which is true, but it should be explicit in the listing. We were traveling with young children and didn’t feel comfortable with the separation, so we ended up all squeezing into the top floor rather than using all five bedrooms. The property managers did offer to refund us for the remainder of our stay if we chose to check out, or relocate us to another property, but we decided to stick it out. We had a great week overall- the provided beach toys and chairs and carts were greatly appreciated! It’s a great place to stay if you don’t mind the separate spaces.

We’ve each lived in Savannah for over 20 years and still live here today—working, playing, and spending our time downtown—so sharing this city comes naturally to us. We decided to rent our first home as a vacation rental because we wanted guests to experience Downtown Savannah the same way we do. When you stay with us, you’re not supporting distant corporate investors—you’re supporting a local family that truly cares about the homes we manage and the guests we welcome, offering personal service and genuine coastal Southern hospitality.
