Penthouse on the Beach!

Welcome to magical Guanacaste's newest beachfront penthouse, Estrella Del Mar. Located on one of Costa Rica's most prized colonial-era beachfront, Playa Potrero, one will be immersed in old-school Costa Rica just 2 miles north of Flamingo, 20 miles north of crazy Tamarindo, and 10 minutes south of Las Catalinas. Every adventure is at your finger tips in this custom built, family penthouse. Two massive terraces overlooking a masterfully landscaped garden and pool with direct access to the beach. Dual outdoor showers, a dedicated BBQ area, and everything you need a quick walk away. At the highest point on Playa Potrero, the master bedroom terrace offers the very best views on the beach with sea turtles and dolphins a common site and even whales at certain times of the year. There is simply no better place on earth for a morning coffee or a nice glass of wine to cap a full day of excitement, fun & adventure.

The penthouse suite was everything pictured on photos and more. Spotless clean with well equipped kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces. Host very helpful. And the on-site property manager very helpful and responsive. The pool is lovely for bathing and swimming lengths. The expansive beach fabulous for long walks and swimming. So pleased with our stay here.

Playa Potrero 2025

Grab this vacation rental. It’s super clean. Very convenient to many restaurants. Looks exactly like the pictures. View from the two large balconies was to die for . Had anything you needed. Ron, Brandy and Blake were very communicative. Awesome to deal with!

Perfect trip

This place is perfect. Highly recommend. My family had a great time. Hosts are super nice and helpful as well. The condo is in a perfect location, everything in it is comfortable and beautiful, the layout is great for a group/family, the grounds are well kept, beautiful pool, direct beach access, short walk to restaurants/coffee shop/pharmacy/etc. There are 2 huge patios to sit and watch the unbeatable Potrero sunsets. We got lucky and were able to find 2 penthouse units in the same building for my MIL’s 80th birthday gathering - everyone had plenty of space and it made for a lovely celebration. Attaching a photo we took from the beach in front (dog pictured is a local beach dog - we miss her already!:))
