The house was exactly as advertised—newly remodeled, beautifully set up, and equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood has that wonderful “up north” feel, with very friendly and welcoming neighbors. There is also a walking path along a short stretch of the lake that is easily accessible near the dock. The homeowners, Patrick and Paula, were fantastic. They were friendly, responsive, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. We stayed with two other families (eight people total) and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The location provides easy access to the lake, with a large sandbar just a short distance from the driveway. If you're looking for a large sandy beach area, the state park is only a few miles away. However, we found the public access and dock to be more than sufficient for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful water. The home also includes a floating water pad, two paddleboards, kayaks, plenty of games, and many other amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable.Fire-pit area was also fantastic and the homeowners even supplied plenty of of wood; supplies for s’mores and everything you needed for a night by the camp fire.We also loved the convenient location, which is close to pizza, a party store, a café, and, of course, ice cream! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home to families or groups looking for a relaxing lake getaway.
