Our stay was perfect. Beds were comfortable, temperature in the house was perfect and everything was labeled impeccably making it easy to find and replace items that were used! Thank you for a great stay!

House was very clean and well maintained. We have rented many homes around Higgins Lake and this home was the most well equipped of any home we have rented. Even full supply of fire wood for the fire pit! We would not hesitate to rent this home again!

Ideal stay

Great spot about 100 feet from the water. The renovation of the property is fantastic and the kids loved playing with the outdoor amenities. We also appreciated that the kitchen is so well outfitted for cooking, etc. We will certainly be coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this lovely home was. I've yet to come across a place where there are no spiders or dirt in corners anywhere, but that is what I found here! The view is nice, and the home is lovely. We enjoyed hanging out in the open kitchen/dining/living room area with a high ceiling. We also gathered in the lower level to sing around the electric piano my son brought along, with no fear of bothering others with the noise. Two of us had to work remotely during the week, and the deck, lower level, and upper loft all provided perfect places to get away from the group. The home is quite close to the lake access, and also close to a lovely walking path along the lake. We were pleasantly surprised to find many kitchen staples available to us, such as olive oil, sugar, and spices. This, and the provision of beach towels, toiletries, toilet paper, and paper towels, significantly reduced our need to pack or shop for items. Of course, the lake was gorgeous, and we took advantage of the paddle boards provided. There were so many amenities we didn't get a chance to use them all!

The house was exactly as advertised—newly remodeled, beautifully set up, and equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood has that wonderful “up north” feel, with very friendly and welcoming neighbors. There is also a walking path along a short stretch of the lake that is easily accessible near the dock.The homeowners, Patrick and Paula, were fantastic. They were friendly, responsive, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process.We stayed with two other families (eight people total) and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The location provides easy access to the lake, with a large sandbar just a short distance from the driveway. If you're looking for a large sandy beach area, the state park is only a few miles away. However, we found the public access and dock to be more than sufficient for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful water.The home also includes a floating water pad, two paddleboards, kayaks, plenty of games, and many other amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable.Fire-pit area was also fantastic and the homeowners even supplied plenty of of wood; supplies for s’mores and everything you needed for a night by the camp fire.We also loved the convenient location, which is close to pizza, a party store, a café, and, of course, ice cream! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home to families or groups looking for a relaxing lake getaway.

beautiful lake house

The property was beautiful and well appointed. Great location. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The lake was visible from the property and had a large deck to enjoy the view. There were lots of extras available such as paddle board, chairs, balls, games and more. We will definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and helpful. Can't say enough good things about this host and property! THANK YOU!!
