Must bring your own linens. Perfect getaway to relax and unwind. Located in a small 5 acre enclave of cottages nestled under the pine trees and overlooking white pond. Enjoy the deck for sunset, evening gatherings or sipping your morning coffee while overlooking white pond. It is the perfect location and is only 2 miles from town or the beaches. The pond is great for families with small children or a couples retreat. Two bedroom cottage with one bathroom. NO PET POLICY, violation will result in loss of full deposit. Internet only, no cable TV. Must bring your own linens (sheets and towels).

I stayed with my 3 children and the location and cottage were absolutely perfect. We all enjoyed swimming in the pond and the ocean and shops were just minutes away. The cottage was clean, comfortable and we had plenty of space. We spend multiple weekends on the cape during the summer months and this stay has been one of our favorites.

Relaxing spot near Chatham

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house overlooking the pond. The patio is great and the views are unreal! The location is only a short walk from Mac's restaurant and a 5 minute drive to town! The house is older and does get hot in the summer, so be aware of that.

Great view

When we weren’t exploring the Cape, our time at the cottage was spent on the deck. The view of White Pond was amazing. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and condition of the rental was disappointing. I took some pics if the owner needs details .

Wonderful Stay on White Pond

The setting was fabulous! Enjoyed having breakfast on the deck overlooking the pond. Swimming and kayaking in the pond was delightful. Cottage was a bit difficult to find upon our arrival so better directions would have been helpful. Kitchen was well equipped but needed to purchase kitchen and bathroom supplies for our stay.

Lovely Cottage and Location

The cottage on the lake is just amazing. Listen to the birds and the breeze while enjoying the view right from the deck. Cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and the beach and lake were perfect for swimming and kayaking. I brought my own kayak with me. I did learn that the grassy "ramp" down to the beach and lake next to the cottage is closed and there is a farther staircase down, this was not as convenient especially if you brought your own kayak. One thing to note that the seller said they would add to the listing is the insects No See Ums or sand midges are VERY bad this year we didnt know what they were because they cant be seen and we are bitten all over the vites itch for weeks. Wear a lot of bug spray and look up no see ums. All that being said we loved this stay and appreciated the hosts communication and stocking of the cottage.

Charming cottage on the pond

Small “old school” cottage right on the pond. The location was amazing! We enjoyed meals and sunsets on the deck with beautiful views. Swam in the pond. Bit of a tight squeeze for 4 adults ( myself, husband and 2 young adult kids) but we made it work! Would love to return some day.

Chatham stay

Excellent location with a beautiful view of the pond off the large deck. Appreciated that we could rent mid week to mid week. Comfortable for 2 people, but 4 might be tight. Furnishings could use improvement. Host was responsive.

Lovely cottage

My husband and I spent a wonderful week of vacation in this comfy cottage. There was everything and extra too that we needed. The cottage was clean with a beautiful view of the pond from the deck and located in a very quiet community We will be returning again.

Donahue 34th wedding anniversary

VRBO has recent commercials on television that advertise that VRBO properties are a home, not just somewhere to stay. This was more like a rental in a college town because the living room carpet was very stained, the outside seat cushions were covered in mildew and the light over the shower was a bare bulb. We had to purchase batteries for the television remote and several lamps did not work. The mattress did not have a mattress pad, and the mattress was also very stained. No Bueno. The place did smell very clean upon arrival and the kitchen and bathroom were very clean. That was great. The check out is 10 am, but the cleaning person arrived that morning at 8:37, my husband was in the shower. No snacks, no drinks, no Bueno. The places where we stayed before and after Chatham supplied lots of niceties for our stay. They were homes away from home. The location is perfect, right on the lake and close to everything in Cape Cod. The place just needs some deep cleaning.

Very pleased. Very relaxed.

Perfect location right off main st. Super private and serene. Our cottage was the only one with the view of white pond. Late september we felt we were the only ones there, so quiet and peaceful. Very happy with our stay.

Cottage on the Pond

This property was great. It’s right on the pond. The pond was clean and great for my kids that are 6 and under. Small beach for them to play on and shallow enough for them to play in the water. It didn’t get deep until you went really far in. They also had a kayak which was nice for morning and afternoon kayaking around the pond. It’s very close to shops and restaurants in Chatham. We would stay again.

Peaceful and Private Cottage

My husband, 20-tear old daughter and I are just back from our wonderful stay at this cottage. We enjoyed the huge, private deck overlooking the pond and spent hours on it and swimming in the water. We also enjoyed the kayak! The small beach is immediately below, couldn’t be more convenient. The home is well positioned for easy access to all interesting Outer Cape sites and beaches. And, you can walk easily to the Chatham Mac’s. Minor issue was the air conditioning. It is only in one bedroom, so those sleeping in the second room could be uncomfortable (Fan is provided, but on very warm nights, it’s not enough on a warm, humid night). Cross ventilation with windows open, on cool nights, work well. Great place to stay. We would certainly return if we come back to Chatham area.

Nice cottage on the pond

Best part of the cottage was the location overlooking White Pond. Great sunset each evening. Cottage is perfect for a small family or group, clean, and well-appointed.

Lockdown Away from Home

This was the perfect place to get away and just be quiet homebodies with occasional trips to local beaches, biking or fabulous walks. The double kayak was a bonus, but the deck and view over the lake alone are worth coming back for. Everything we hoped for and more after three and a half months of being at home.
