The house is beautiful and is located in a very nice neighborhood. There were some areas that could have been cleaner, but overall it was a wonderful stay. Our family was happy and we would definitely return!

Treasure Chest

It was an absolutely amazing stay. Loved the house and spent most of our time in the backyard. I haven't been in a pool for 15 years, but the temp of this pool was nice, so I loved it. Loved the birds, turtles and otters in the pond.

We left a review at the house. It was a really nice place. Quaint and well decorated. Clean and the grounds were nice with the inground pool and the large pond behind the house. Lots of wild birds etc.

Perfect stay

We had a lovely stay at the Treasure Chest. The house had everything we needed including a little care package. It was cleanly, neat, warm, and inviting. The host was prompt in responding to any questions. The setting was private and perfect with an amazing back yard. Couldn’t have asked for much more!

Great Getaway

Great place to stay with all the amenities. Beds were comfy and pool was warm. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Very close to Anne Maria Island. Grocery store and gas right down the street.

Beautiful home.

This is a lovely home with a super sweet and relaxing back yard. Close to stores and restaurants and a short drive to the bridge connecting to Bradenton Beach. The home is clean, comfortable and well appointed.Check-in, check-out and communication in all regards excellent. I highly recommend.

Great location, well equipped house.

We chose this home because of the location. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to lots of stores and restaurants. The house has a cute nautical vibe and the pool was an added bonus. and we had yse of all the appliances

Chicago Escape!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- almost a month and every fay was beautiful. The home, outdoor area, pool and lagoon were all perfect and the variety of birds and other wildlife added such enjoyment to our days! We will definitely rent again!!

Winter Getaway

My husband and son stayed to escape a few days of MN winter, and we could not have been more happy with this place. From the cleanliness, to the amenities, to the location, we would not have changed a thing! If we come back to this area, we would for sure stay here again!

Beautiful pond view!

We enjoyed the pond view from the pool and watching the turtles, birds and other wildlife. Location was excellent and close to everything. House was clean & kitchen well equipped.

Stay at Treasure Chest April/May 2024

Overall, the stay was great for the three of us women in our early 70's. We hadn't considered the temperature of the pool water and were surprised when we found it to be so warm. The other issue was a non-working grill. I called property management and within a few hours, Alex was there and fixed it (new battery on ignition switch). He also turned off the solar that heats the pool and made the water cooler and much more refreshing. The house has a ton of plates, glasses and all sorts of utensils although grill specific utensils would have been nice. There are plenty of chairs, lounges, dining chairs outside on the patio. We spent most of our time enjoying the patio and scenery. I suggest including a few maps of the area in the welcome book. Also, some fun/helpful materials on local birds as there is a wonderful pond right there. It was very private, quiet and just what we were looking for....we would go back and stay there again.

Peaceful and relaxing!

We really enjoyed our time at the Treasure Chest! The home was the perfect size for our group of 4. We found it to be very comfortable and relaxing. The house is very well maintained and you can tell the owners take great pride in it. Loved the location…it is in a quiet neighborhood and only a short drive to Anna Maria Island, beaches and attractions. We loved spending time outside by the pool while enjoying the wildlife and nature of the small pond. The back yard is landscaped very well and feels secluded even though there are neighbors on both sides. Owners were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely return!

Perfect week in Florida

We normally stay on Longboat Key but when I went to book all those properties were taken and the cost was outrageous. So I decided to try Treasure Chest instead. We were pleasantly surprised. The place is exactly as it appears in the pictures - maybe nicer. The neighborhood was convenient and quiet. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. Having the pool was a real plus. We went to the beach a couple days but the traffic on the island was horrible. Overall, very nice. I would stay there again.

Very pleasant stay

The home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio and watching ibis, heron and even a kingfisher. The pool was high maintenance and a lanai would be a plus.

Relaxing, comfortable Family Vacation

Upon arrival, the house was clean, stocked, and welcoming! We were excited about the size of the house and the decor. We loved the outside patio and pool space! Great location in a quiet neighborhood and close to many Anna Maria island attractions. We loved our stay at the Treasure chest!

The house was fantastic The area was fantastic, not a lot of noise. The only downfall I had on this vacation was the cleanliness of the pool. And this was because of the one tree that was continuously shedding, banana peel, size leaves, and seeds that left residue in the open air pool.. the pool water wasn’t crystal clear. Even when we got out, we had to shower off because we were covered in particles.. it’s a huge investment for the owners, and the only thing that I could say to really make this property shine, would be to enclose it in screen covering. Because no matter how hard is the wind blows you’re going to get residue in the pool. Some days are better than others I will admit. But other days I would come home from catching a spring training, baseball game and the pool floor vacuum would be clogged up and hadn’t been running all afternoon. would be clogged up and hadn’t been running all afternoon. I would have to spend time to skim the water and try to get it as clean as possible. Which didn’t quite seem to happen at all during the vacation.. Don’t give me wrong vacation was great, but the pool was the only downfall for me which I spent a lot of time in my investment in. Slightly disappointing I’d have to say.. But thank you for the opportunity to stay there.

Truly a Treasure

This is a beautiful house with an amazing outdoor area. The pictures don't tell the whole story. The decor is so well done with great attention to detail. The furniture, the linens , the lightening, the landscaping ,the pool , the glassware and dishes, everything was tastefully picked by a talented designer. It's really a beautiful home. The location is great.Stores near by. I rode a bike every day to the Robinson preserve or Anna Maria Island & Cortez. It was quiet and serene sitting around the pool. The only challenge was figuring out the 4 TV remotes. There were great instructions for everything in the house ..but the TV. I sat out by the pool instead of in front of the TV most of the time.This was a perfect place for my elderly mom to be able to get around easily and relax while I went out to explore. We both LOVED the Treasure Chest. We hope to be able to return next year.

Quiet and comfortable

This is our second time renting a VRBO in the Bradenton area. The location was terrific, the house comfortable, and the amenities exactly to our liking. We will return to this property again.
