Incredible views, great community amenities and the condo complex was impeccably maintained. The unit itself was beautifully decorated, well-appointed and offered everything we needed. Our only criticism would be that it smelled musty and the mattress in the primary suite was extremely firm. A mattress topper available would help a lot.

Great home, view and location. Would love to come back. Hopefully next year the beach will be in better shape.

The property was gorgeous. It was a perfect stay overall. We did have a few issues with things in the unit (faulty deadbolt, faulty outlet in the masterbath and non-working tv in the masterbedroom). None of these was a major issue during our brief stay but hopefully will be fixed for the next renter. Our biggest concern was being asked to do laundry prior to exiting the property. We noted to the host that in all our 50 years of renting properties thru VRBO or other means, all over the world, we have never been asked to launder the towels or bedding. We suggested it might be prudent to explain this better at check-in rather than a curt phoneconversation at checkout. Otherwise, VRBO was great to deal with and through and we had a wonderful stay in NSB albeit a bit too brief. Will definitely use VRBO again. Thanks

We also appreciate you mentioning the few issues you came across. We’ve noted those and will make sure they’re taken care of. As for the laundry, we completely understand where you’re coming from. We do ask guests to pull the sheets and start a load of laundry before heading out, but there’s no expectation to have everything finished. It just helps our cleaning team get a head start. This is included in the rental agreement and in the check out instructions in the arrival packet, but we appreciate the feedback on how that was communicated. Thanks again for staying with us. The condo itself is the nicest one we have stayed in at New Smyrna Beach, and we have rented for 40 years. It's beautiful, well-equipped, and top drawer in every way. However, it is located underneath the Sandpiper's community room which apparently lets guests use it whenever they want, including after midnight on two occasions during our week's rental. I feel bad for the owner, who has spared NO expense, to have to put up with a negative review like mine due to the community room.
