The host was very responsive and did respond to our issues, but I wish we had known ahead of time that the apartment is surrounded on both sides by two different major construction projects. She fairly refunded us as we needed to stay somewhere else.

Property was clean and size was perfect for two people. Internet and TV in both rooms worked seamlessly. Location was also perfect. Great communication on booking reservation.

Quick visit

For a quick visit to Miami Beach. Great location to the beach, not much shopping close, few shops, everything is a walk. But great if you don't mind. Great communication with the host. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient and Quiet

This unit is as described by others. Very practical, accessible to the ocean, met all our needs and beyond. Perfectly located on Midbeach which allowed exploring both North and South Beach. Free trolleys a nice bonus. So glad we didn’t have a car. Quiet building and host was responsive.

Pretty Good Overall

The foyer, elevator & hallway areas all need a good cleaning and some tlc, but other than that, the room we stayed in was very clean, nice and comfortable and that's what really mattered the most to us. Plus the price was reasonable. Overall a pretty good experience.

Lovely little place in a safe and convenient neighborhood

The good: clean, cute, convenient, and cozy. Host was accommodating and let us check out late due to flight time. Wonderful access to beach and public transportation. Convenient grocery store, restaurants, and places to hang out, have a drink and people watch. Coffee and tea and basic kitchen needs were provided. Plenty of bedding, a couple beach towels, and umbrellas were provided. Very accommodating. Could be improved: update beach chairs and being able to login and stream our TV subscriptions like Netflix would be nice.Heads up: bathroom is fine but very small and there is little view of sky through windows. Can only see other buildings. But, on the good side this makes the apartment very private and more quiet than above a street. Overall: Great place for the money and would stay here again:)

Great location

My husband and I were exceptionally happy with our stay at Blue Ocean. The communication with the hostess was fantastic! The apartment looks just like the pics! It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great because all we had to do was cross the street and we were on the beach. The apartment provided us with beach towels, a beach bag, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. All came in handy for our daily beach excursions. Another thing we loved about this mid beach location was the fact that the free trolleys were just steps away. It made going down to south point where our favorite restaurants are a breeze! Oh, and don’t do like we did and pay $70 for a ride from the airport to the apartment. Instead you can pay $2.25 pp and hop on the airport station bus which will take you there. We did that going back and it too was a breeze! Lastly, we would highly recommend this apartment because it’s quiet, clean, and close to everything!!!

Horrible Hostess - Wifi disaster

This was one of the worst VRBO experiences I have ever had. My boyfriend and I wanted to take a last minute trip to Miami and wanted a one bedroom with a living room to both work remotely for the week to escape the cold of New York. We found a reasonably priced listing we thought was great value but it turns out it was priced right. The location was across from the Edition hotel and Faena but in a no man's land of nothingness. While close to the beach, there were barely an options for lunch or coffee with exception of a Starbucks and frequently people loitering in the lobby. We only got the check in information 10 minutes before we arrived and that was incredibly chaotic. I give Susanna credit that she allowed us an early check in though which was accommodating and appreciated by us. The one thing that I cannot move past is when we arrived, the internet was not working - throughout the week the wifi barely worked and was spotty at best. I called VRBO who wasn’t particularly helpful after spending 6 hours with her back and forth over the phone and text about how she called the cable company after she heard about an outage, didn’t inform us of said outage and then re-neg on that storyline, noting that nothing was wrong and would not acknowledge that there as a problem with the wifi, we knuckled under and just paid for a hotspot since she would not help or acknowledge the issue. She never checked in with us thereafter either. While the accommodations were adequate at the end of the day I would never support this woman and the horrific “hospitality”. Good luck!

Das Appartement ist toll und hat eine sehr tolle Lage. Man ist in 5 Minuten am Strand. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Man kann sich wunderbar selbst verpflegen.

Cute place

This was a cute place to stay. It was perfect for a couple looking to get away, but not break the bank. It was just a few minutes walk to the beach and a 15 min car ride to South beach. The neighborhood did seem a bit more rundown that what I had expected. A lot of construction was going on and just general upkeep of the area wasn't very clean/nice. The room however, was very clean and nice.

Great little place

Its small, but met our needs for a great price. Great location. We were worried when we saw a bunch of college kids on spring break, but the walls are very sound proofed and we barely noticed them. The only complaint i have was that we only got local channels on tv w/ no netflix or anything. Fortunately we had our laptops and just watched tv on them. Very clean and comfortable, would definitely recommend.

EXCELLENT LOCATION!

We were in Miami Beach for the Miami Boat Show, dinner with friends, and fun! The location of Ocean Blue was perfect for all! Walking distance to the Convention Center; fabu restaurants and cafes; and the beach! Lodgings were clean and perfect for our weekend. We would stay there again.

Close to beech

This apartment is located within walking distance to great restaurants in South Beech and just one street from beech. Equipped with all we needed for our 5 day stay. Exceptionally clean.

Perfect Location

This property is far enough away from the fast pace of Collins Ave. and still close enough to enjoy everything going on! We loved this property and will stay again! No surprises, everything as advertised.

Beautiful apartment as advertised

When we arrived, I was concerned. The building was ehh and the elevator smelled of urine but once we got into the apartment I was very pleased. It was everything that it was advertised to be. It was very clean, mostly comfortable for the size and RIGHT by the beach. I would recommend a couple upgrades of items (i.e. a couple larger skillets, a smaller spatula, some additional kitchen towels/utensils and a drying mat for dishes). The tv remote volume button appeared to be broken so we couldn't adjust the volume on the tv and the lock to the bedroom door did not function properly so we couldn't keep the kids out for "alone time". Aside from those few minor issues the apartment was very nice and exactly what we expected. The grocery store down the street was less than desirable. There was not much of a meat selection to speak of as far as cooking chicken or steak etc. back at the apartment and it wasn't very clean. I suggest hopping a trolley or stopping at a store on your way in from the airport and grabbing your groceries for your stay.

Clean, Modern Place in a Great Area

This place is everything you need in a great location - close to the beach, with easy access to the boardwalk and close to great restaurants and even a grocery store. The unit itself is very clean and modern. We found it quiet and had all the amenities we wanted. The owner Susanna is extremely helpful and provides all the information you need for the area and to access the unit. She was also very helpful with some special requests we had. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thanks for a great visit to Miami Beach!

Good spot but...

It really is like you see at the pictures. There is everything you need, from beach chair to two different coffee machines. The wi-fi is perfect. The bed and pillows are ok. The TVs are very good. We can see that the owner cares about your clients. However, there are some downsides: (i) the air conditioned machines are old and too noisy; (ii) I saw some little cockroaches in the cupboard and bathroom - I guess this is a building problem (I saw some garbage left in the corridor for three days) ; (iii) the nearest garage is about 15 blocks from the apartment, and ,as it was raining we had to take a cab to pick up the car. The public parking nearby only let you park for 3 hours in line, and you need to add more hours each three hours - only after 3 AM to 9 AM you can leave you car there for free. No other parking options nearby. If car parking is not a problem for you, you don't care to share your food, plates, pans and cutlery with cockroaches and enjoy sleep with noisy, the spot is perfect for you.
