I think we found OUR spot for every visit in Florida.over all the place was clean. I think we got to break in the new deck around the swimming pool. very nice. we felt at home. nice quiet area. The grandchildren enjoyed the nice clean pool. Only one small complaint. The grill needed a good scrubbing before use.

Great stay!

Great house in a safe neighborhood! Host is very communicative and the pool was nice to swim in after a long day of work! Would stay here again!

The house was very dirty when we got to the rental. Almost no furniture in the living room area besides a crappy futon. There were 2tv's in the house and neither one worked. The furniture was stained bad. The blankets had holes in it. No cups in the kitchen. Cabinets were broken. The French doors were broken. No washer and dryer so we bought some on fb and hooked them up. We were there for 2 months and didn't want to go to a laundromat. Never used the pool once but it was clean. The deck steps going to there pool had a big hole. The landlord does the work to the pool and sends you messages all the time. Then she requires you to take out renters insurance and puts a claim in on things that were wrong with the place before we got there. So I'm guessing she just takes the money and runs.

We have pondered this review over the course of the two weeks we stayed in this property. On the positive side, the host was always available and responsive. She was gracious, accommodating and we felt she truly cared about our comfort. The house is truly spacious.That said, the house is sorely in need of repairs and exterior maintenance, e.g., all of the exterior vegetation is overgrown and unsightly, bi-fold doors, kitchen cabinet doors and egress doors are in need of repair. The front door seemed secure enough, but the French doors to the sun room and lanai blew inward, despite being locked, and could easily be penetrated by anyone with ill intent. The window coverings consisted of blinds--most of which didn't function properly, ditto windows.Furnishings are sparse and the living room "sofa" a stained futon and one chair--neither was comfortable. The refrigerator ice/water maker was frozen solid and didn't produce either ice or water. The host did purchase and have delivered, a free standing ice maker.The kitchen is poorly equipped. Very few pots/pans and no baking sheet or pizza pan. There were four drinking glasses and six coffee cups, tons of spoons, but few other utensils and the knives couldn't cut butter. There is no can opener (we purchased one for our use) and no cutting board. There were no dish towels/cloths; only a sponge. No vacuum or interior cleaning items. Thankfully, we also had our own duster/dust mop and wet mop.Pool deck unusable.

Property is not well kept. Yard is messy. Pool was unusable( not owners fault, liner ripped. Did have it fuxed, but pool was only 1/2 full, and dirty). I found it very dirty. Hair on sheets, refrigerator dirty. Dirty rugs. Needs a deep clean, wash rugs, and get yard cleaned. I would not recommend. Owner was nice, and refunded.

Just suggestions

The property and experience overall was good. We were able to ask for a later check out time as well. The kids wanted to swim longer. The cons was the outlets in the kitchen didn't work. The lighting over the kitchen table wasn't working either. The necessary items needed for the kitchen utensils were limited. The decor of the home was outdated, along with the visual upkeep of the home. This is a great property and location with minor adjustments needed. We had a great time overall and would come back.

Our vacation was ruined and cut short because of this rental. After being in a car for 17 hours we were very upset at the condition of the property and the time we spent talking to the host and Vrbo support getting the reservation canceled and refunded. House was not as advertised, pictures make the property look better than it is.Moth cocoons on the master bed wall, kitchen cabinet door hanging off, front of fridge had some corrosion, pool deck and stairs unsafe to walk on, funky smell in house and especially the back room, floors sounded sticky walking on, back yard was depressing to look at, stains on rugs and furniture, and overall just had a dirty feel. Had to cancel and get a hotel with our 3 dogs which is why we rented a house so we would have room for our dogs and not have them barking in a hotel at every little sound. So our 5 day trip turned in to just 2 days. Will not be trying this service again, Ill just get a hotel next time because Ill know what to expect.
