Thank you so much! We're really glad the communication was helpful throughout your stay and that we could arrange laundry access for you. We're always happy to accommodate requests like that when we can. Regarding the outdoor bathroom, it is detailed in the listing description prior to booking, though we absolutely understand it may feel different in practice depending on the time of day or season. We appreciate you noting that it worked well during the daytime and warmer weather. Your feedback is helpful as we continue to look for ways to improve the guest experience. Hope to welcome you back again soon!

Had a good stay here. The host was great and easy to get in touch with. Good communication. Nice little property that’s close to Universal Studios and Griffith Park. Love that there’s a full kitchen and private parking. Solid option for the whole family at the same price (or less!) as being crammed into a hotel room. Thanks!!

Place was clean and decent for a short trip. The host was very kind and helpful. The only bathroom is through the master bedroom so that makes it a bit difficult when you’re staying with multiple people. The roll out twin bed seemed a bit dodgy so my brother slept on the couch but that wasn’t a problem.

Overall it was a good stay, nice and quiet neighborhood. Good location in Glendale. The kitchen was nice but a bit understocked. Also the hot water was very hot, might suggest looking into that. I would recommend the home and would return to it for future visits. It was really nice to be able to park in a driveway.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique and thoughtfully designed space. The location is excellent—close to amazing local restaurants and spots, making it easy to explore. The private driveway was a huge plus given the limited street parking. The hosts were communicative and responsive throughout our visit, which made everything seamless. We especially appreciated the additional outdoor bathroom—beautifully done and very convenient for two groups staying together. Jomel was very responsive & answered most texts promptly- The biggest surprise was that the second half bath(which was why we chose this listing) was actually located outside in the backyard! The screen door was extremely loud so that people sleeping in the house were awakened if you went out to use that bathroom The full bath is an en-suite so it wasn’t suitable for us to go into that bathroom- There were only two coffee mugs & one was so badly chipped that no one wanted to use it - As others have stated the plumbing is quite loud & the house isn’t soundproofed for that - The location is surprisingly quiet & we were there on a holiday weekend- It wouldn’t have taken much to elevate this property for a 5 star(like a mirror in the 2nd bedroom, outlets close to a bed so you had access to charge your devices) It suited our purpose, the beds were good & LOVED the off street parking!

Thank you, Louise! Really glad the location worked out well, especially over a holiday weekend, and that the off street parking and beds were highlights for you. We do want to clarify a couple of things for future guests. The outdoor half bath is clearly described in the listing, so that information is available before booking. We also have a full set of glassware, dinnerware, and plates that comfortably accommodates a family of six, with additional pieces available in the cabinets as well. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay, as we're very responsive and would have been happy to address anything in real time. We're glad it suited your needs overall and hope to have the chance to welcome you back with an even better experience!

Nicely appointed cottage home in a good location

The location was perfect for the 3 of us visiting family in La Crescenta and close to groceries and restaurants. The house is on the edge of a residential neighborhood with ample parking for 2 cars which was appreciated. It was quiet at night even though near one busy street. Dog walking in the neighborhood was perfect with lots of route choices past nice homes and condos and apartments. It was VERY clean and showing pretty normal wear and tear. Beds are comfortable. The HVAC worked fine and the Roku TV is helpful. The kitchen is a good size, but not stocked for any serious cooking and not appointed for more than 4 people. It was perfectly fine for breakfast and lunch for 3 or 4, though. The en-suite bath was nice and very functional and the half bath outside is very helpful if more than 2 are staying. It might be a bit challenging, especially for an older person at night. Laundry is available for longer stays.

Overall, our stay met our basic needs, but there were several things worth noting for future guests. The biggest positives were the location and the cleanliness of the home. It was in a convenient spot and the space itself appeared well maintained when we arrived. For the most part, the home was also comfortable enough for a short stay. However, the property didn’t seem well equipped for a family of four. There weren’t even four matching place settings available—some dishes were chipped or broken, and the silverware was largely plastic just to make up enough pieces for four people. The sink faucets were also very dirty when we arrived, which was surprising given how clean the rest of the home seemed. The beds and pillows were unfortunately very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Another important detail that we felt should have been disclosed in the listing is that one of the bathrooms is located outside. We didn’t realize this until the second day of our stay. The house is also very loud acoustically—you can hear almost every noise throughout the space, especially from the bathroom, which may be something to consider for families or groups.Overall, the home worked for what we needed during this trip, but given the issues above, we likely wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, Tiffany. We're glad the location and cleanliness were positives for your stay. We do want to share a few thoughts as well. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay if anything feels off, as we are very responsive and would have been happy to address any concerns in real time. Unfortunately we weren't made aware of any issues until this review, which makes it difficult to make things right in the moment. Regarding the outdoor bathroom, it is clearly outlined in the listing description, so we want to make sure future guests know that information is available prior to booking. As for the beds, we have brand new memory foam mattresses which many guests find very comfortable. Mattress preference is truly personal and can vary greatly from guest to guest, so we understand it may not be the right fit for everyone. We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope your future travels are more to your liking. Our door is always open for guests who communicate with us along the way so we can make every stay the best it can be.

A Cozy and Well-Equipped Stay in a Great Location!

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming little house! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The house was not only cozy but also impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The location was fantastic—situated in a great area that felt safe and convenient, with easy access to everything I needed. One of the standout features was the dedicated driveway, which made parking effortless. It’s a small detail, but having a guaranteed spot right by the house was a huge plus, especially for unloading luggage and coming and going without any hassle.Inside, the house was thoughtfully stocked with everything necessary for a stress-free stay. The kitchen had all the essentials to prepare meals, making it easy to cook and dine in when I wanted to. There were plenty of towels, blankets, and other necessities, ensuring I was comfortable throughout my visit. It’s clear that the host has put a lot of care into making this space welcoming and accommodating for guests.Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I truly appreciated the warmth and convenience of this home. It exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time I’m in the area!

Michelle, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. I'm really glad to hear that you had such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s great to know that the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the house met your expectations — I put a lot of care into making sure everything is in top shape for guests. I'm especially happy to hear that the dedicated driveway made things more convenient for you. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, so having that extra bit of ease really makes a difference. It’s also great to hear that the kitchen and other amenities helped make your stay more comfortable. I try to make sure the house is well-stocked with everything guests might need, so I’m glad that stood out to you. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back the next time you're in the area.

We had a pleasant stay at the property, however the price is too high for the property. The pictures are accurate, but don't show details that made the overall price/value ratio just OK. The kitchen needs better supplies (for example only 4 plates and 4 forks, and no dishwasher, so every day you are washing dishes). The blinds need to be maintained, as several slats were missing or broken on several windows. This was particularly bad in the bedroom, where bright sunlight poured in in the morning. The table is water damaged on the surface, yet no coasters could be found. Also the dining room chairs are quite uncomfortable to sit in for a long time. There is only one interior bathroom, that is accessed through the bedroom. The other half bathroom is literally outside. The floors appeared to be mostly clean, but your feet would say otherwise after walking around for a few hours. Good points are the AC worked well, TV was nice, and location was good. It's relatively quiet and close to shopping. Overall certainly a decent place, but overpriced for what you get. The little details -DO- matter.

Becoming an host wasn’t just a business move for me—it was a personal decision rooted in connection, creativity, and community.

I've always believed that where you stay can transform how you experience a city. After years of traveling and staying in countless stays, I realized the most memorable places weren’t always the most luxurious—they were the ones that felt thoughtful, warm, and welcoming. That stuck with me.

Hosting allows me to bring that same feeling to others. I love curating spaces that people actually look forward to coming back to at the end of the day. From the cozy lighting to the local guide I created just for guests, every detail is designed with care.

But honestly? The best part of hosting is the people. I’ve met travelers from all over the world—families on vacation, artists filming nearby, couples celebrating milestones. It’s an incredible feeling knowing I get to play a small part in those moments.

Hosting gives me the chance to share a little piece of my world with others—and that’s what keeps me inspired, stay after stay.

So whether you're here for adventure, rest, or something in between, just know: you're welcome here. And I can't wait to host you.

After years of traveling, one thing became crystal clear: comfort, convenience, and charm matter. I wanted to create a space that blends all three—and Glendale is exactly that kind of place.

Tucked between the buzz of downtown LA and the natural beauty of the Verdugo Mountains, Glendale is a hidden gem. It's got that perfect mix: safe, scenic, and seriously underrated. You’re minutes from Griffith Park, The Americana at Brand (a personal favorite for food & shopping!), and close enough to Universal Studios, Hollywood, and even Burbank Airport.

But more than that, it feels like home. There’s a vibrant mix of culture here—Armenian bakeries, indie coffee shops, rooftop wine bars—and an easygoing pace that makes it ideal for both staycationers and out-of-towners looking to explore without the stress.

I designed this space with travelers like you in mind. Whether you’re here for a film shoot, a romantic weekend, or just to escape the city noise, you’ll find thoughtful touches, fast WiFi, and plenty of style.

Choosing Glendale wasn’t just about location—it was about creating a warm, welcoming base where great memories begin. And I hope you’ll feel that the moment you walk through the door. 🌿

First off, location is everything. Nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood that still puts you just a few blocks from local cafes, grocery stores, and parks, the walkability here is a dream. Whether you’re grabbing a morning latte or taking a sunset stroll, you’ll love how easy it is to explore.

Step inside, and you’ll notice the vibe shift immediately. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with curated pieces, warm tones, and cozy textures that make it feel like home—but better. Whether you're chilling with a glass of wine in the living room or enjoying a peaceful night in the bedroom, every corner is styled for comfort and inspiration.

And yes—private parking is all yours. No circling the block or worrying about tickets. Just pull in, unpack, and unwind.
